Chez Nous

Very comfy, clean, well-organized home. Bedrooms very clean, bed is comfortable. We had room #4, The Rose room with double balcony, private bathroom, actually Queen bed, and small wall TV with APP channels. Room smaller than photos, balcony overlooks side yard & parking spaces. Very relaxing. Private bathroom is large accessed by small accordion doorway, jaccuzzi tub does not work, shower is narrow, black walls, dark, no light, no problem using it. Kitchen well marked with what you can use, what works and what you cannot use: stove/oven. Plenty coffee, assorted teas; basic breakfast food stocked in fridge: bread, butter, peanut butter, muffins, cookies. Main areas are very well maintained with large TV and standard channels, very pleasant common spaces.

The negative: we received all self check-in info & door code, and gave estimated arrival time at booking; but odwner constantly messages you via email from Booking.com starting very early in the morning on arrival day, asking if it is possible to give him arrival time so he can meet us. By midday, I had received another email message and then I got a text message, all asking the same info. I finally messaged him back. He met us, explained the self check-in code was no longer being used, instead showed us an access keyring that you had to line up with the doorknob to gain access to the main house, and the bedroom had a regular key. He was very kind, showed us around, explained what we were allowed to use and not use and the rules of the house. After that, he left. We spent only 1 night. You can hear everything from the other bedrooms and from outside. Room faces the parking spaces and walkway. Very thin walls. The balcony door lets the sunrise come right through no blackout curtain, and the curtain he has barely covers the door window. Overall good price, comfy, pleasant, relaxing. We were lucky other guest just as quiet as us.

The space was great. Very large, very well equipped, comfortable bed. The breakfast in the morning has cereal, fresh fruit and mini muffins, juice, coffee, tea. Host was great, Would definitely stay again.

The owner was very helpful with out luggage, given my back troubles, and was very helpful in pointing out all the available facilities.

The place had great amenities and was very spacious, making it comfortable to relax during my stay. Everything was clean and well maintained, and the host was very communicative, providing clear instructions and responding quickly to any questions. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, and I appreciated how easy the check-in process and communication were.

Unfortunately, there was too much noise coming from the room next to mine until after midnight, despite the property’s policy regarding quiet hours. It wasn’t the owner’s fault, but there is definitely a downside to having so many rooms rented out in one place. It was simply bad luck.
