Woolmarket House

Excellent communication prior to travelling regarding access to the property. The room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was outstanding. Staff were lovely, helpful and friendly. We ate at Michael’s Mediterranean restaurant downstairs absolutely beautiful meal and surroundings. Lovely atmosphere throughout the property. Would return in the blink of an eye.

What an absolute gem! Everything about this place was fantastic. The entry system after hours, the staff, the breakfast (WOW). Right in the heart of this Cotswolds town. Thank you for making our stay perfect. We'll be back :-)

I cannot think of a single thing we didn't like except - we wanted to stay longer!!

The location in the village was excellent.

There was no sign. When we inquired at the Wool Market's restaurant, we were given a surly and sarcastic response from the person working there. Rather than telling us where the reception was he mocked us for trying to check into a restaurant. As we had just made a sweaty +10km hike from Broadway in 34 degree weather, he could have opted to be more helpful. It was my fault that I hadn't carefully read the description. This is more of an air bnb, not a hotel. We arrived on a sunday afternoon and there was literally no one there to assist us. A fellow traveller helped us. The amenities were fine, but for the amount being charged it is overpriced. We had just come from an outstanding historic hotel in Broadway with exceptional service and after walking all day, we arrived at basically a self-serve airbnb which cost us the same amount. This was our last stop on the cotswold way and it was very much a denouement.
