Townhouse Suncitel Near Kolkata Airport

We stayed for about 5 hours and left at 3:30 AM to catch the flight. The reason I booked this hotel is its proximity to the Airport. It was reasonably good for a budget hotel.

Cleanliness of the washroom (particularly the commode) needs attention. The flush was not working properly.

Good overall.

Few room lights were not functional. Otherwise good.

Awesome stay

Close to airport. Powerful AC. Staff friendly and helpful. 3am check in. Smoking room (although this may be a negative for some) Very cheap. I had read the reviews and knew what I was walking into. It seems, especially around Kolkata (and India as a whole) many reviews by “local” guests falsely giving top reviews to raise the guest rating of hotels. Be aware and sort reviews by ‘low to high’

I had read the reviews and knew what I was walking into. It seems, especially around Kolkata (and India as a whole) many reviews by “local” guests falsely giving top reviews to raise the guest rating of hotels. Be aware and sort reviews by ‘low to high’. Doesn’t look that much like the photos. Tiny grim bathroom. I only needed 8hrs there between flights. I would not have wanted longer. Rips and holes in the sheets. They cancelled my booking on here after I had checked in and paid! Either to avoid the commission or avoid another poor review.
