Location. Well stocked kitchen (we like to go to the local markets & then cook!). Comfortable. Bright. Lovely!!
The top of the staircase opens up near the kitchen work area. It would be good to have some kind of barrier/gate at the top to prevent slipping down the staircase by accident.

Perfect Location for our needs. Clean, well maintained, easy to reach - absolute recoomendation
The only minor issue we had was a Bar close by which had very loud music, sometimes till 1:00 in the morning, This might have been a special case in our situation as we were in Arles during the opening week of the photo-festival. I guess, usually this is a quiet neighborhood - it was just that one bar that was a bit annoying.
