Radisson Blu Hotel, Larnaca

We stayed at radisson blu hotel only for two nights. The hotel rooms are very large and very comfortable. We had two large beds plus still lots of room. The breakfast is outstanding. Lots of choice. On weekends it’s until 11am. The rooftop pool area is relaxing and very clean with a pool bar that closes by 6pm. The staff are very professional and polite. They allowed early check in and assisted us with calling taxis etc. Tip: we found a wonderful taxi company that were really helpful with dinner ideas etc. we just messaged them on WhatsApp and a car would arrive. The pool is not heated. So it’s still refreshing in Sept. The location is perplexing. It’s in a very dilapidated part of larnaca. The views are of buildings, rubbish piles and a port. Not worth paying for sea views. You need to taxi everywhere. We went to metropolis mall to shop. We had a great dinner at Mackenzie beach. But this a 15-20min taxi ride. I chose a Seaview room. The view is of a port. A really ugly view. We could not fault the hotel at all but the location was just awful as a tourist spot. Do not stay here if you are wanting to walk to restaurants etc. stay in another area. I should have read the reviews about location.

Location hotel is far from the beach. Cleaning is sometimes done in the afternoon not comfortable as you cannot take a proper nap they did not accept to give room until person who paid by card arrived pool has no depth so not comfortable to swim restaurant to small for hotel of its size
