GLUTEN FREE Bed & Breakfast Dežela Okusov

From the moment of check-in Marija handled our every needs! She was kind! We unloaded our things and she directed us to head downtown Ljubljana for Open Kitchen... so fun! Breakfast's were delicious! We also ate dinner at the Gluten Free B&B on our last evening, and our waiter Vasiliev(?) made it extra fun & special. Our entire stay was AMAZING!

Outstanding Breakfast & Service: Fantastic breakfast with variety and plenty of protein options; staff kindly prepared a "to-go" breakfast package the night before for an early morning tour. Friendly & Accommodating Staff: Very welcoming hosts who went out of their way to offer complimentary luggage storage until an evening bus departure. Prime & Safe Location: Central location in Ljubljana, offering a very safe environment for walking around. Spacious Room: The room was surprisingly roomy for a traditional B&B setup. Manageable Access: Even though there was no elevator, it was only a single flight of stairs up.

Cleanliness: The room needed a much deeper, more thorough cleaning.

We were able to park our car a few hours before check-in and leave it for a couple of hours after check-out, which was very convenient. The location is excellent for exploring the city on foot—about a 15-minute walk to the Triple Bridge and the city centre.

The rooms are quite small, and the sloped roof takes up a fair amount of usable space, (the pictures do show this). If you’re not careful, it’s easy to bump your head, especially in the upper areas of the room. The breakfast was adequate, but nothing particularly special. Overall, the convenient location and flexible parking were definite positives, but the small rooms and sloped ceilings are worth considering when booking.
