Fabulously comfortable and spacious. Easy access to bamboo forest etc. A little out of the way for Kyoto centre but it suited us very well.

So comfortable. The beds are huge. The room layout is sensational. Very lovely stay.

Lovely interior. Comfortable and cosy and calming after a long day out and about. Kitchen area and facilities very good as was the bathroom facilities. Good location for exploring the West side of Kyoto. There is a lot to explore in the area. Friendly, helpful staff.

Everything, honestly. The location in Arashiyama is the star: quiet in the early morning before the day trippers arrive, and a short walk to the bamboo grove and the Togetsukyo bridge. Coming back to somewhere this calm after a full day out was a real luxury. The room was spotless, comfortable and thoughtfully set up, with plenty of space to unpack properly for four nights rather than living out of a suitcase. Check in was smooth and friendly, and the hosts were genuinely helpful with local tips. Great transport links too, easy to reach the rest of Kyoto and straightforward onward to the station. Excellent value for what you get

Nothing at all. Four nights and not a single complaint. If I had to invent something, it would be that I wish we had booked longer

We really like the location of the place. We like the fact that we could walk and get breakfast or dinner within 10 minutes.

Although the property was clean, it was very small. We visited during early April so the prices were outrageous and it was definitely overpriced for the stay and for the size of the room.
