Boldly decorated larger than average room with large en suite, room had the usual TV, hairdryer, kettle, mugs, and a good supply of tea and coffee, along with a fridge and safe. The ensuite had toiletries and towels. Breakfast in the bar next door, menu to choose from and a fair few choices, porridge was lovely and hubby enjoyed his fry up on 2 mornings.

TV channels or lack off, great for anybody who already has a Netflix subscription, good job we had some longer days out. Although soundproofed there was noise from the ceiling early one morning as the people above were rolling suitcases about. While there is choice for breakfast you can't deviate much or build your own, heavy on carbs for any watching these as potato bread and hash browns on the vegan breakfast, by day 4 I was missing some toast and as a vegetarian an egg, unusual that they do a vegan but not vegetarian breakfast option.

Our room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable with luxurious linen’s. The restaurant and bar was such a bonus! The atmosphere was wonderful, the staff was attentive and friendly, the drinks and food rate in the excellent range!

The bathrooms at the restaurant/bar require going upstairs.

So peaceful

Lovely big room with super king size bed decorated beautifully. Big shower, a fridge and a sea view right next to Carrickfergus castle. Traditional Irish breakfast that kept us going all day. On street free parking right outside.
