A beautiful cottage, very well equipped and absolutely spotlessly clean. A really quiet location, and the large hot tub was a beautiful 40 degrees of bubbling heaven! The beds were so comfortable, towels luxurious and plentiful. A nice touch to have a gas BBQ with utensils for one of our evening meals. Absolutely everything we could have wished for - truly exception.
Not being cat lovers, we were a little surprised how comfortable cats were at coming in and making themselves very much at home - they certainly know their favourite spot on the sofa and a little effort required encouraging them out of the cottage several times.

Loved everything about this quiet secluded property. Overlooking a wonderful field full of all sorts of animals.
I little more thought in so much as hooks outside for towels (near hot tub) and in side the bathrooms would be useful. BBQ wire brush would have been also useful.

This lodge is like a home away from home. it’s really cosy and comfortable and has everything you would need. the hot tub and the view is just amazing. we didn’t want to leave.

Peaceful and perfect for a quick trip away to relax. Hot tub very easy to use and if your lucky a touch of stargazing in the hot tub is a must.
The zoo is only 10 mins down the road and plenty of great pubs around Ulverston.
