We loved our stay here.
The setting is really beautiful, it was so peaceful and quiet.
The room was a great size with a comfy bed.
Wifi was excellent, plenty of hot water in the showers. Air con worked a treat.
The pool area was stunning, we mostly had the place to ourselves! The place was so peaceful, we were regularly joined by groups of beautiful birds drinking and washing on the edge of the pool :)
We hired a scooter here too, very good value.
Breakfast basic but enjoyable. Plenty of eateries walking distance away.
A small fridge in the rooms would be ideal, but a minor detail.

A lovely quiet oasis and well maintained. The staff were kind, thanks especially to Ketut at the front desk, he was amazing helping out after a minor scooter incident. A very pleasant stay indeed.

We appreciated the cleanliness.
Breakfast is not plentiful enough, they could add a pancake and see a fruit juice.
I think they do this for business to make extra money.

Nestled away on a hilltop forest away from the hustle of the city Center, MAMARAS is an absolute dream for anyone looking for a quiet getaway. While there are small eateries around, the popular sunset bars and beaches are quite far away. The staff is also quite helpful and pleasant. I had chosen to stay here because it was close to the dive Center where I was getting certified, so it served my purpose. One tip: the standalone bungalows cost slightly more but are far far better. Would definitely recommend going for those
Just one tiny complaint - there wasn’t enough light in the room. Since the doors were glass, the curtains had to be drawn even during the day and the light inside was quite dim. Perfect for mood setting on a romantic getaway, but not for anything else
