I enjoyed the format and how spacious our room was. I also love how they provided many amenities and were willing to replenish as needed. They provided Laundry Pods for the washer, Toothbrushes with toothpaste and even Washcloths per guest.
The Location is a bit of a walk, about 10 minutes each direction to the main street.. maybe 15 to the metro. It’s not much to complain about but does add up when you’re going back and fourth. Im sure it’s also the fact that Kyoto is not as “city” as Tokyo or Osaka. A plus side is you can rent e-bikes nearby!

Great location, nice room, very clean
Sometimes there was a bit of a bad smell, the floor was stained and the sofa was burned

The staff at the reception was very helpful. For our four day stay we got one paid cleaning service which was great. The laid out of both the rooms was quite good too. It was an 11 min walk from the nearest station and 20mins walk from the famous Nishiki street

Bed was comfortable.
Bath and shower room was very nice and separate from the toilet.
Room size was good, could comfortably open 2 suitcases at once.
It had a laundry machine which was very convenient.
Floors were carpeted and had many stains which made the room feel dirty.
The toilet paper was extremely thin so you had to take 5x the normal amount, so I doubt the hotel is saving any money on cheap toilet paper, it was just really annoying.
