Hi Backpackers (Hong Kong Hostel Group)

It has very easy access by A11 bus from the Hong Kong International airport (one needs to walk back from the bus stop and the Hong Kong mansion where the hostel is located on the same side of the road) and located close to 'Causeway bay' MTR station (exit E). Amy was very helpful at the time of check-in and the house-keeping lady comes every day to keep the place clean. One of the most important 'ding ding' lines (HK tramways) from Kennedy Town to Shau Kei Wan is only a few meters away from the door step. It has lockers and bring your padlock.

I would like to suggest the 'hostel team' to put up a notice by the kitchen sink asking people to clean their own dishes after the meals and not to leave them and most importantly not to use the kitchen sink to wash the faces and brush the teeth as the above ill-mannered, unhygienic activities were carried out by a small number of people who did not seem to know the difference between the sink in a bathroom/toilet and that of a kitchen.

Amy at the front desk is super nice. Same for the lady that cleaned the room. The beds are comfortable and overall the hostel (basically one big room with beds, bathrooms and lounge) is quiet and comfortable. One of the best options I ve tried in HK.

The hostel feeling is a bit missing. Since everything is in one room it’s less suitable to do a call or just chill during the day (it’s a common aspect for HK though).

Staff were wonderful, and the location was great. Bed was comfortable enough.

I liked nothing at all here. Disaster of a place

Aircon was not cooling, management said because my bed was in corner of the room so it will not work. Building looked so old and crampy, i felt it was about to bundle down at any moment. Showed up at reception during checkin time yet no one was there was 30 minutes, had to wait and called management but no one answered. When it rained, there was loud noise of rain drops falling on the terrace. Total disaster. Would not recommend to anyone.
