The host was very friendly and welcoming and had excellent knowledge of the area, with plenty of useful local advice. The room was well cared for and the French breakfast was excellent. I also found the property surprisingly quiet despite being close to the road. A lovely place to stay while exploring the vineyards of the Gironde and the Saint-Émilion area.
