Our host, Roberto, went above and beyond when my rental car broke down late one evening on the way to Al Robale. He came to pick me up and towed the broken-down car (from Alamo – steer clear of them!). The next morning at 6:45, he even drove me to an important early appointment, since I was left without a car. Later that day, when I got back, Roberto helped me get in touch with both the rental company and roadside assistance. Without his fluent Italian, dealing with them would have been far more difficult.
The second night we had a wonderful dinner at Al Robale.
