Cairns Motel

Clean, comfortable space, great location for what we were doing. Owner offered opinions and suggestions on where to visit and things to see. Overall very nice place and experience

Traveling internationally we had limited connectivity.issues, so made it hard to receive messages and make calls. When we arrived at the front desk (prior to the indicated time) nobody was there and there was a phone that said press the button and speak and then release the button to listen. I pressed and spoke like six times with no response. I finally broke down and called with my phone, generating a charge for international calling, to get someone to come to the front desk. That was the only annoying thing. If I had a different plan maybe it wouldn't have mattered, but with mine it did.

Very clean; comfortable beds and pillows

Clean ,well kept rooms . The grounds were well maintained, quick walk to the confed trail. Owned and operated by a local couple. I Always stay here when visiting the island.

Exceptionally clean and ergonomically designed rooms.

Only that we did not find it sooner!
