The listing photos need an update to reflect the true condition of the property. If you want a pretty beach house inside and out, this one is not for you. It needs some serious maintenance on the outside and a few inside areas need attention. However, the host was great, the house was clean enough. The air conditioning worked well enough. Some of the things that were listed as included, were either missing or not in working condition. Like the outdoor shower, string lights under the balcony, no basic spices, no cookie sheet/pan. Here are some notes I made while staying: Rotted spots in the bathroom need to be fixed, the soft spots in the floor fixed, cracked window needs to be fixed, a deep clean all around, especially on the couch, it has a smell. A bigger pot to boil stuff in, clean the moldy vents. Shower in the downstairs guest bathroom gets water all over the floor, needs a better shower curtain. (We moved it lower) the bunk bed mattresses are pretty thin and you can feel the slats. The microwave was new. The fridge was nice and clean.Overall, we had a good stay. The view of the ocean was nice. The most troublesome thing was the mosquitos! The downstairs under the balcony holds water after a rain and makes the mosquito problem worse. There is NO hanging out under there.

We had a great time. Sat on the porch every morning and evening watching the waves. Great view of the ocean. Stones throw away from the beach. I have to say the Maintenence man Bobby was extremely helpful in getting things fixed. Very prompt and extremely courteous. Thanks Bobby.

Cleaning team wasn’t finished by check-in. Pool is not an amenity—you must pay per person for each use. Property is not maintained well for the price. The paint is peeling, rotting floor in the house, rotten deck that someone is going to fall through, kitchen cabinets and drawer falling apart, doors that don’t work properly, trashed out water hose downstairs, nasty couch pillows, pilled and scratchy sheets, scratchy towels and clothes dryer not working. Kitchen is very poorly equipped—a house that accommodates that many guests should have more than tiny saucepans, decent can opener, pot that goes inside crockpot is missing, no big mixing or serving bowls, and too much more to list.The house is beachfront with nice view and a path. Cars allowed on that short stretch of beach, so it does get very crowded and lots of vehicle traffic.I do not recommend this house at all. It’s a POS for the money. Photos on VRBO must be very old or AI enhanced!!
