Incredible museum, beautiful decor, lovely staff, good location

The experience is the architecture and history but the staff make it extra special. The breakfast was super and room always spotless. I walked a lot of places but easy to get a car/taxi too.

A wonderful experience. The property is quiet and stylish. Kind and knowledgeable people who work there add further to the enjoyment.

Number 11 is situated in a quiet neighbourhood and is within walking distance of both the famous Barefoot gallery and Gallery cafe . It is a beautifully and lovingly preserved property with countless fascinating art works and artefacts belonging to Geoffrey Bawa , many of which were created by famous artist friends . So much to look at and admire in every corner , nook and cranny of the property . Staying here for a couple of nights in 2 different rooms each night was such a treat and the staff Rohana and Priyantha made my stay extra special and memorable with their warm hospitality . Breakfast on both mornings was superb .

The bathroom in the suite on the first floor was a little too small and could use a makeover .
