Tikitam Palms Boutique Hotel

This is absolutely one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in anywhere! I initially booked 3 nights in order to travel around, but actually returned because nowhere else could measure up! The property is stunning and peaceful with gorgeous lush gardens, immaculate beach area and lovely pool - very much a tropical paradise. Rooms are beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, extremely comfortable and spacious. The staff are very attentive and welcoming - I highly recommend exploring the reef on a starfish walk! The food is absolutely exceptional! The best I found in Zanzibar - and frankly any other hotel I've stayed in. Additionally, it was wonderful to see the feline residents so happy and healthy (clearly well fed!) living the life of luxury, which was certainly not always the case elsewhere. I think this really highlights how caring and kind-hearted the staff here are. It really is the perfect place to unwind and relax. I'm returning in October and can't wait!

The location (property is surrounded by original bush with flowers and endemic plants), service, staff (always very kind, helpful and respectful) and food were all excellent.
