I booked this for my uncle. He was very pleased. Lovely, friendly staff. Very accommodating. Arrived late due to a delayed flight. They rang to make sure I got there in time before closing the kitchen, and we had a meal after a long day. Location is great, near everything but nice and quiet. Very comfortable room. Enjoyed a meal with family the following night; everyone was very happy with the food. Nice outside area also just off the restaurant with plenty of tables.
The price of hotels has gotten very expensive, not just this hotel, which at least was well maintained, offered good food, lovely staff, and a really good room.

we were a late booking due to the closure of flights from cork airport & no availability in the city centre. I know that the town was lovely so decidied to book for her

Lovely quirky rooms, friendly staff
No parking, very thin walls, can hear people from down the hallway multiple rooms away. However, staff were responsive when I asked if they could get ask the people to quiet down (shouting around midnight mid-week).
