- great mattress - parking on site - tea/coffee facilities in the room (fridge as well) - good sized room - breakfast very good - outdoor pool clean - good location - 20 min walk to centre of Funchal

- terrible pillows - there is a pillow bar but costs extra if you want a „normal“ pillow that is neither too big nor too small - cool window in the bathroom but cannot open it…

Facilities were great! It was my partners 30th birthday and they had sparkling wine arranged for the room, a lovely breakfast and all staff members wished him a happy birthday. Location was great, had a garage with a lot of space and we had a classic room which was very comfortable.

Shower was smaller than expected

I stay any many hotels for work and I thought the hotel was amazing the free pass every day to the spa was an amazing extra

Staff was really nice!

Our overall experience was disappointing. We had to call reception more than once due to noise above our room (a rooftop party). The music was very loud after midnight, and when the party ended, it seems they were tidying up the space. Unfortunately, we could hear furniture being dragged and other noises after 1am. It got even worse early in the morning, when we were woken up by housekeeping talking loudly in the corridor for a long time. The place is amazing and the staff members were also very nice, but when you choose to stay at a hotel or any accommodation, it is to rest, enjoy your stay, and relax. Unfortunately, we were unable to do that.
