Hotel Alpina

Clearly shows that it is a family enterprise - felt very warm and welcoming, good to see the staff having morning coffee together on arrival for breakfast. gave the place a great "feel". Staff were always happy to assist. Even the cleaning staff who did not speak English were super helpful within the limits possible! Fantastic sauna set-up for relaxing in the early evening. The inclusive breakfast was great, and evening meal standard was very high (but might benefit from a few more options if you wanted to dine there every day)

Only one English speaking TV channel - CNN!

The hotel is in a good location , very close to the main gondola. The staff in the restaurant / bar are excellent . Breakfast is very nice.

The room only had a shower, no bath. Our room 206 at the front of the hotel was opposite an icy pathway on a hill which is used as a shortcut by drunken apre skiers who were very noisy and woke us up most evenings. Check at 10am is very early , 11am would be better.
