Flying Dutchman 1164 was practically designed for families: the spiral staircase to the kids' loft is an adventure in itself, and the toy stash and video game system mean the words "I'm bored" never come up.

WHAT YOU'LL LOVE
- Spiral staircase to a three-sleeper kids' loft
- King bed in the guest suite
- Toys and a video game system for the kids
- Outdoor pool, shared hot tub and sauna
- Gear-ready mudroom boot bench
- Shuttle to the slopes

The condo lives large for a group of eight. Everyone lands on the leather sectional in front of the gas fireplace after ski school, while dinner for six comes together in the open kitchen with its stainless appliances and barstool counter. The entryway boot bench - hooks, cubbies, baskets - swallows the whole family's gear and keeps the chaos contained.

Bedrooms are spread out for privacy. Parents get the primary with its ensuite bath and memory-foam-topped mattress; grandparents or friends take the guest room with its own TV and door to the covered patio; and the kids scramble up the spiral stairs to a loft with a cozy solo bed and a bunk, sleeping three.

West Keystone stays blissfully quiet, but the resort shuttle gets you to the lifts, and the complex's outdoor pool, shared hot tub, and sauna handle every afternoon. Make this the trip they talk about at Thanksgiving - reserve Flying Dutchman 1164.

Free outdoor lot parking is available for up to two permitted vehicles.
