Villa Monastero di Favari is a truly special place. It has been renovated with a designer's eye, but yet the owner has kept the "bones" of the old Italian Monastery at the forefront of the rehab. And the LeMarche backdrop is something to behold. Off the beaten path, but yet easily accessible to some of Italy's best kept secret towns and villages. Your vacation at Villa Monastero Di Favari will be something you, your family and friends will never forget. On our first morning I opened up the shutters to discover the most stunning view of the Le Marche hills with a herd of long-haired sheep being herded down the white country road! It was a lovely way to start the day which consisted of sitting by the pool soaking up the Le Marche sun, going into Apiro for market day, and wine tasting some of the LaCrema red wine at a local vineyard (kindly arranged by the villa's caretaker!) The Villa has every high quality amenity you can ever hope to have in a vacation rental and is so beautifully appointed. The kitchen is gorgeous and the living room so cozy. There are six bedrooms (really seven if you count the little bedroom off of the master bedroom) that all have amazing views! The linens and towels are first class. The views around the pool are amazing. It was just so very relaxing and we felt totally disconnected and relaxed. It was a wonderful way to be away and connect with girlfriends who had all gathered at The Villa for the week for my 40th birthday celebration. I highly recommend this special Italian getaway if you are seeking a vacation where you can unwind, relax, eat amazing Italian food and soak up the Italian culture that is still authentic and not contrived by masses of tourists! We had a fantastic holiday, the villa was as described and more. Plenty of room for us all to rattle around in, a gorgeous swimming pool and amazing views. The villa is very tastefully decorated and kitted out, with a lovely relaxing feel to it. The children found the chapel fairly spooky but to us it was quite serene. There is plenty to do locally with lots of super restaurants and cafes to explore. The nearest (pebbly) beach is about half an hour away but to be honest we mostly preferred to laze around the villa as it was so peaceful. We adopted three kittens who turned up during our stay and to all accounts are still there, my nephew says please ask anyone staying to look out for them (and feed them if you're so inclined). There is also a fairly tame hedgehog in the woodpile. All in all I would thoroughly recommend this villa for anyone seeking a luxurious retreat.

I had the chance to go to this villa for 4 days with my girlfriends and it was superb! The villa is located in a peaceful region of Italy, although it was only a 30 minute drive to a charming town with restaurants, bars, wine tasting, shops, etc. The main thing for us was that it was not flooded with tourists, so it felt very authentic. The house itself is huge and easily accommodated all of us. The linens on the beds were freshly ironed and every room was immaculate. It's definitely a luxury place to rent. The kitchen was big enough for us to all get in and cook a big meal together + there were enough coffee mugs and wine glasses that we didn't have to run the dish washer every meal! Overall, it was a fantastic place to hang out for the weekend and I would definitely recommend it to others.
