Huntsville Marriott at the Space & Rocket Center

Great location, fun decor, and super convenient location

The Marriott is a fairly posh hotel. Very nice facility.Room was clean and bright, bathroom was clean with a walk in shower. The breakfast buffet was great! I booked the MArriott because it is adjacent to the Space Center. We attended the Biergarten at the Space Center...What a BLAST !!!

About my only complaint (other than the price) is that streaming on the TV was VERY poor............picture was often very blurry........I tried to watch the Packers/Falcons and could not stand the poor picture. We streamed some programs on Prime and they were fine in the afternoon, but the game, also on Prime, was poor. Other live TV stations also were blurry in the evening... I had also requested a ground-floor room and received an email saying that my request would be honored, bit it was not! However, since they have an elevator, no big deal.

The location was good.

I was expecting it to nicer, cleaner, and more well kept for the price. Room cleaning was lacking, including mold on the wall in the water closet. Everything was old, there was broken furniture. Internet was an extra $10 per day, did not buy. Parking seemed to be $12 per night.
