About this house rental
Our beautiful rustic barn has a stone gas fireplace perfect for snuggling and staying warm while you catch up on movie time or your favorite shows on direct tv. First floor also has a bathroom with shower, living room, eating area, and full kitchen that includes coffee maker, dishes, pots, pans, silverware etc.. The upstairs has2 bedrooms with 1 double and 1 queen bed in each room. A unique bathroom that has a vintage soaking tub . Also a sitting area where you can catch up on some reading or sip a glass of wine. We have Tvs with Direct TV in each bedroom .Enjoy the outdoor landscaping no matter what the season .Relax in a lounge chair outside under the pergola, throw a steak on the barbe, make some smores by the campfire, listen to the waterfalls, walk through the gardens and enjoy the sweet smells . We also have a farmhouse that is listed on vrbo if you need additional housing for your guest. We also host weddings in our 40x100 heated and cooled 4 peak tent. The cabin was so cute and cozy - perfect for a family weekend getaway. Outdoor area was very pretty -would be nice to sit around the outdoor fire pit with friends if we came again.

This stay was such a seamless process! Communication with the hostess was easy! The barn/cabin was perfect for our group. Beds were comfortable and the place was simply charming. Some holiday decor was still up and just added to the ambiance. We would come again when it’s warmer to enjoy the outdoor amenities. Close to Osceola and Indianola for more things to do. Great place to stay!!!

The 4 of us loved staying here. From the decor to the comfort, the fireplace, the kitchen, comfortable beds, bedding and everything else. This host thought of everything. Kitchen was stocked with whatever we needed. We did all of the cooking as the 2 day blizzard raged outside. We had such a good time. Beautiful setting even though the snow covered most of it along with the -40 below windchill. The barn was so warm and comfy. The host couldnt have provided a better 3 night stay. Will recommend to everyone!

Holly has thought of everything! This was an absolute beautiful property with all of the comforts of home. The adorable barn we stayed in was so much more than we imagined. I certainly recommend staying here!! We do wish it would have been warmer so we could have enjoyed the outdoors as well.

What a fantastic first night of our 2-week roadtrip from Colorado to New England and Canada! Definitely one of the most beautiful settings we’ve ever experienced in a VRBO rental. The barn is full of charm, character, and very clean. The grounds are peaceful and serene. Listening to the water feature while sitting around the fire pit and enjoying the patio was very relaxing. Super easy parking and comfortable bed. Will absolutely be back!

If you’re questioning if you should book this or not….. BOOK IT! Seriously, this was one of the best staycations we have had. The property was absolutely beautiful! Holly was great to work with and very accommodating. Super easy check-in and check-out process. The barn had everything you needed. It was the perfect weekend getaway and so peaceful. We will definitely be back!

When you arrive you are struck by how beautifully landscaped the property is and then you enter the modern house with all the amenities and feel very fortunate to be staying at Bailey Farms. The property is so peaceful and relaxing and the pergola is wonderful. Holly is a fantastic host and available for any questions that might arise. Don’t miss your chance to stay at Bailey Farms!

We knew that our mini-vacation was going to be good, but we had no idea that it was going to be spectacular! The barn, the grounds, the general accommodations and the owners all made for a great, relaxing stay. We plan to revisit in the near future. We just cannot recommend this venue enough for a comfortable, gorgeous get-away.

Multiple family members from out of state met up to see a sick relative in Iowa. We couldn’t find a hotel because of Tulip Time so opted for a VrBo and we were NOT disappointed! What a beautiful property. The pictures don’t do it justice. Holly was easy to work with. We spent a free afternoon at a local winery and seeing some other nearby sights. 10/10

Absolutely perfect stay! My friend and I loved the decor of the barn and all the small touches throughout. Well stocked for everything we needed for a weekend away - the soaking tub was one of our favorite things about the barn! Enjoyed shopping in nearby Indianola since the weather was cooler and we couldn't enjoy the patio area like we had planned. We Absolutely loved our stay. Would highly recommend! ❤️

We were SOOOO pleased with this wonderful spot! It was perfect as a launching pad for all the family & friends we wanted to see. What a lovely and peaceful location. The inside was so cozy and we felt like like we were in our own private Lodge. HIGHLY RECOMMEND staying here!! You WON'T be sorry. A little away from the business of bigger cites, but that's what we loved! Be sure to visit the Bridges of Madison County!

Barn was really cute and comforatble. There was a great hiking trail about 35 minutes away ( 8 miles long) and it was about 40 minutes to Des Moines to get some some coffee or do some shopping.

We had the pleasure of staying at the little red barn for four nights. We needed a place to recharge our batteries and do a bit of work on the van and this place fit the bill. We really loved having the fire pit with all the supplies! Holly was very accommodating and was a great communicator.

My husband and I really enjoy the little Rustic Barn house. It's not too little....just right. Beautifully decorated and very clean. The farm is set up for a wedding venue so you get to enjoy the pond, landscape, flowers, vines as well. I would highly recommend staying here as we will be going there again as well.

This place--the barn and the landscaping and all the small touches that made the property beautiful--was amazing. It's a bit off the beaten path, so to speak, but well worth it. The rural setting is idyllic, and the way the owners have developed the place is really spectacular. We'd come again in a heartbeat. The interior decorating of the barn was tasteful, warm and comfortable--very homey. We particularly enjoyed sitting outside under the pergola, or around the fire pit in the evening. And the lights in the trees that came on at dusk were amazing, too!

We loved this place—the little barn home, setting, coziness. I could live here! A vacationer’s paradise! So peaceful and well-appointed. I recommend this place to anyone near this area. If I’m ever nearby again, I want to stay here just to relax. Holly was great when we had questions and responded quickly. Lots of towels, toiletry supplies, even some snacks. Very little closing duties.
