Located in Torch Lake, this lovely house for $304 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. Situated across the road from Torch Lake this house offers the perfect getaway with 2 public lake/sandbar accesses conveniently located less than a 3 minute walk down the road. This vacation home is just minutes away from downtown Alden (2.3 miles) and Elk Rapids (13 miles). The house was updated in the spring of 2018. The vacation home includes a full kitchen, with stove, oven, dishwasher, and microwave. Next to the kitchen is a dining area that seats up to 9 people. There is also a laundry room with washer and dryer. The master bedroom, at the back of the house, includes a King sized bed and television, there is a walk-in closet and master bathroom attached. A second bedroom offers a closet and a twin-over-full wooden bunk bed. The half bath is located across from the second bedroom. From the living room, located in the front of the house, you can get glimpses of the lake through the trees across the road. Out the living room door there is a covered porch with views of Torch Lake (through the trees) and the small frog pond on the property. The upstairs offers two more bedrooms, one full bath and a kitchenette with compact fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The woods bedroom towards the back of the house has a queen size bed and a 42' smart TV. The lake view room with Torch Lake views offers a full bed and a cozy reading nook. A charming pond with water lilies and lots of frogs (no fishing !) is located in front of the house. But perhaps the best part of the house is outback. There is a romantic fire pit and a hammock located out the backdoor. The fire pit is the perfect place for s'mores, camp songs, and ghost stories. A grill is provided for cookouts. The backyard leads right into the forest behind the house. The forest offers miles of trails to explore. Please note that this house is located in a residential neighborhood and we want to be respectful of our neighbors. The vacation home is intended for families who want to make life-long memories and not meant for loud parties.

The home is really nice and we had a good amount of space for our families, 4 teens and 4 adults. Kitchen has everything we needed, beds were comfortable, bathrooms were clean, and washer/dryer worked well. The garage was great for games and the front porch and backyard fire pit gave us space to enjoy the outdoors. We enjoyed our week at Torch Lake.

This house has everything you need. Plenty of space and activities to keep you busy. We enjoyed the firepit, garage games and hiking trails! She has supplied everything you need for kitchen neccessities. Everything is labeled and very organized down to a first aid kit and emergency supplies. Our only complaint is the road is fairly busy and loud which was unexpected. But that’s really the only complaint.

I can’t say enough about Torch Lake, or this property! Beautifully clean and organized, pretty much everything you need is already here: beach towels, floats, even bug spray. The frog pond and campfire circle are ridiculously relaxing to sit aside. Owners just across the street, too! Great experience. 10/10

Anja had a beautiful home. Plenty of space and garage is massive! She had a nice note welcoming us with stuff for s’mores to enjoy when having a fire. Plenty of wood was there for us to use. We recommend!

Our four-generation family stayed at this wonderful cabin and we absolutely loved it! It was immaculately clean and very comfortable. Must see in person, the pictures just don't do it justice! The garage playroom was a godsend with our 2 year old granddaughter and 12 year old grandson! When the weather was a bit inclement, they had a space to burn off all of their energy! The hosts were absolutely awesome and responded to any questions we had so quickly. I raved about our stay to friends and now they're going to book this gem too!

Thank you Anja for being an amazing host. The home was beautiful and clean. It was the perfect place for our annual girls trip. The front porch was a great spot to enjoy a glass of wine and take in the Torch lake views. We enjoyed sitting around the fire pit and catching up. The link to pontoon rental was an awesome bonus. Definitely one of our top vacations thus far.

This property was available when we had to make a last minute cancellation of another trip. We feel very lucky to have found this. Our party was 8 adults (4 couples). Very comfortable accommodations. Kitchen well stocked. Loved the fire pit and the game room!!! And dining table big enough to accommodate card games with 8 people!

My family and I really enjoyed this property. The beach was easy to access. We rented kayaks and paddle boards from Alden Sports. They were wonderful (would recommend). Traveled to Traverse City and Mackinac Island.

The home was very clean (and I’m very picky)! My only suggestion would be to put a queen sized bed in the one bedroom and possibly upgrade the mattresses. Other than that, I would highly recommend this rental! Thanks Stoldt family!

Well taken care of with many options to entertain kids and have family time. Beautiful area too. Wooded behind house with nice firepit, grill and hammock. Saw deer two different times very close. Torch Lake is everything we heard and hoped for! Only thing my son and I wished the home had in the bedrooms were ceiling fans. Honeowners great to work with.

The house was perfect for our stay! The place was even nicer than the pictures and it was spotless. We loved relaxing by the fire pit in the backyard and playing pool, ping pong, and cards in the 4 car garage! The lake is just across the street and you can take a short walk down the street to water access. If you want more of a beach you will need to drive about 25 minutes away. Please note there is no food delivery in the area so plan to bring food, condiments, etc or go out and pick up food. We loved our stay and would definitely come back!!
