COCO-MAT Athens Jumelle

The site is well-placed, and the staff are reliable and professional. Everything functions smoothly, even better than anticipated. Description on site is accurate.

The breakfast area, the reception and the staff. The location was excellent. And the room view also excellent (on the 7th floor).

Although they upgraded me to a better room for free the room design was a bit strange. It has a long corridor space and there was no closed wardrobe. Also the cleaning lady kept on having cleaning things outside the rooms so the area looked a bit messy. The wellness area has a pool but the gym equipment shouldn’t be in the same hot humid area. Also the equipment was a bit bizarre and non standard. I think it would be better not to try and squeeze a gym in there.

The hotel is well located in a quiet neighbourhood well within walking distance of all the main sites. It is clean, comfortable and very quiet at night when you're trying to sleep. The breakfast is excellent and there's plenty of choice.

Nothing

The location and cleaniness of the hotel is excellent. Staff are also very professional. Comfy bed also

The size of the bedrooms are really unacceptable for the cost. There is very limited space to put luggage and hang clothes. This was so disappointing. No hairdryer in room. The spa facilities are really tokenism. How can one relax with the gym bikes behind you and work out equipment. While the pool is OK, 4 lounge chairs with pillars beside you is really not relaxing. At one point, we could not use the is as there were 4 people there already. It could also do with a water cooler there. I was very disappointed with it given the cost we spent. It is not what I would expect for 5 star hotel. The longe space couches at reception are pointless, no one uses them, they could make better use of the space and the walk through area with the bed could be a nice lounge area. While the beds are comfortable, it is not suited to having luggage and more than a 2 night stay. This was a special annisversary stay for us and we spent alot on the hotel stay as the pictures gave an impression of roomy spaces.. The Massage room is also very poor. We ended up booking massages outside of the hotel which defeats the point of booking a 5 star hotel. Their rates are too expensive for what it offers
