Lee chambres sont d’une taille correcte pour New York. Les lits sont des 140. Nous donnions sur l’arrière de l’hôtel donc très calme. Au 15eme étage donc un peu bas pour avoir une jolie vue. Nous donnions sur l’immeuble d’en face non habité donc pas de vis a vis. Nous n’avons jamais attendu l’ascenseur car le 15e est le premier étage desservi. Très bon accueil à l’arrivée comme au départ. Pas de taxe en plus mais une caution de 300$ qui n’a pas été prélevée. Nous n’avons jamais attendu pour le petit-déjeuner non plus. Ménage fait tous les jours. Proche du métro de Penn station.

Zentral gelegenes Hotel unweit des Time Squares. Zur Metro (Penn Station) als Ausgangspunkt für viele Unternehmungen ist es nicht weit. Wir haben im 25. Stockwerk gewohnt mit schöner Aussicht.

Direkt vor dem Hotel ist es nicht so schön. Frühstückssituation war schlecht, fast immer völlig überfüllter Raum, aber das wusste man durch vorherige Bewertungen. Es gab keinen Schrank im Zimmer und keine Garderobe.

Funcionários simpáticos, prestativos, alguns falando espanhol e todos com bastante paciência quanto ao idioma. Café da manhã muito bom, boas vindas no check-in, opção de guardar malas, perto de tudo. Quarto confortável, foi uma experiência incrível e que queremos voltar.

Pena que não aceitava Wise na forma de pagamento!

Lage, Personal, Sauberkeit der Zimmer

Wir sind abends mit dem Taxi gefahren, weil es doch viele komische Menschen in der Nähe gab. Das Frühstück beinhaltet jeden Tag das gleiche. Alles mit Pappgeschirr und morgens einen Platz zu finden glich einer echten Challenge. Das nächste Mal würde ich eine ähnliche Lage wählen aber ohne Frühstück. Und dann morgens einen Bagel (gibt es mehrere zur Auswahl in dem Viertel) frühstücken. Das Personal und die Sauberkeit der Zimmer überwogen aber.

Das Hotel hat eine super Lage - sehr viele Sehenswürdigkeiten sind in 10-15 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Zimmer sind geräumig und die Betten sehr bequem.

Alles gut - es gibt keine Dinge - die uns nicht gefallen haben. Wir würden wieder dieses Hotel auswählen.

L’emplacement à deux pas de Time Square

Peu de rangement disponible dans les chambres de 4 personnes, il faut laisser les vêtements dans la valise…

Lokasyon iyiydi ve sokak sessizdi (Arkaya bakan odadaydık). 7. caddede olsa daha iyi olabilirdi 8. cadde ve sonrasında bir şey yok çünkü. Metroya çok yakındı hem Penn'e hem Harold'a. Yataklar genişti. Resepsiyonda'ki Guile saçlı Christian çok tatlı çocuk. Kahve sırası olmuyor ve karton bardakta kahvenizi alıp sokakta yürümeye başlayabiliyorsunuz

Odalar dip dibe, yan odanın kapısı açılınca bizimki açıldı sandık hep ve kat gürültüsü olduğu gibi odaya giriyordu sabahları. Odalar çok küçük, yürüme alanı 2 metrekare kadar, dolap sadece montlar için. Bavul koyacak yer olmadığı için kıyafetler hep bavullarda kaldı, bavullardan alıp giydik. Asansör felaket! Özellikle sabahları zaman zaman 15-20 dakika asansör beklediğimiz oldu. Kahvaltı çok az çeşitli ve hep aynı şeyler çıkıyor, biraz daha az verip kahvaltı hariç almayı tercih ederdim. Genel olarak New York'da çok evsiz var ama otelin bulunduğu sokakta çok evsiz var. Yolda yürürken biraz rahatsız ediyor ama otelde 24 saat güvenlik var, otel için sıkıntı yaratmıyor. Temizlik iyi yapılıyor ama çarşarflar 6. günde bizim söylememizle değişti. Söylemesek hiç değişeceğini sanmıyorum.

Unser Zimmer war für NewYorker Verhältnisse (24m2) „riesengroß“ (das war bei der Buchung aber schon ersichtlich). Dann war unser Zimmer im 23. Stock mit einem tollen Ausblick (siehe die zwei Fotos) und wenig Lärm. Gratisgetränke von 16 bis 17:00 Uhr. Die Lage des Hotels mit allen Hauptverbindungen (Metro und Bahn zum Flughafen - ganz wichtig). Proaktives Personal.

Das Frühstück ist für einen Europäer eine Riesenumstellung. Soviel Plastik (Becher, Besteck). Die Papierteller und Kaffebecher aus Recyclingmaterial werden nicht getrennt und werden leider von den Gästen nicht entsorgt (Wird einfach am Tisch liegengelassen). Wir haben zwar alles gefunden aber diese Hektik und Platzsuche ist sehr anstrengend. Personal ist toll auf den Frühstücksrun vorbereitet und liefert stetig nach und putzt sofort bei verlassen den Tisch.

El hotel es super original y brillantemente organizado, todo es práctico, la habitación está todo nuevo y bien equipado, no es muy grande, pero est bien, hay posibilidad de vistas a la ciudad. El desayuno, es muy original y está todo rico, por la tarde, tocan en directo, si quieres puedes encargar comida y cenar en el hall, tiene un bar agradable también. Esta muy bien ubicado cerca del Madisson y también del metro.

A hora punta el ascensor y el desayuno había que pelearlos, aunque era parte del encanto. Nos ha encantado, si volviéramos a Manhatan intentaríamos repetir en él.

Location is great and the room were clean and efficient. Broadway and time Square is in walking distance. Subway stop super close. Loved this hotel and location. Breakfast was good but a bit crowded in the mornings. We will be back for sure.

The elevators were a bit slow and often overflowing.

Me gustó la ubicación, en el Midtown, al lado del Madison y muy cerca de la estación de metro de Penn Station, en una calle bastante tranquila en comparación con otras cercanas. Buena habitación, sin ruidos y muy limpia. Pudimos dejar las maletas el último día. Además, se encargaron ellos de buscarnos un bus privado (éramos 6) para la vuelta al aeropuerto de Newark.

Bajar al desayuno puede llevar bastante tiempo, los ascensores van muy llenos y hemos llegado a tardar hasta 10 min en conseguir hueco. Pero bueno, se acaba bajando. El desayuno también es un poco jungla, hay mucha gente y cuesta un poco conseguir mesa. El desayuno en sí está basntante bien, tiene buena variedad y siempre vas a encontrar algo que te guste.

The staff in this hotel is exceptional. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and there was lots to choose from. The location is just around the corner from Times Square which was super handy and close to lots of tourist locations which was perfect for our trip.

We were upgraded to a higher floor however the room was smaller than what was advertised. The armchair in the room was comfortable however the fabric was quite dirty. The breakfast was served on paper plates with plastic utensils which was not ideal.

Die Lage des Hotels ist super, sehr nah zur Pennstation und zum Times Square. Das Frühstück war gut, nichts außergewöhnliches und leider auch keine Abwechslung. Aber es reicht vollkommen aus. Die Zimmer waren sehr ruhig und das Bett bequem. Für NYC Verhältnisse waren die Zimmer wirklich groß.

Wie in gefühlt allen Hotels in NYC musste man während der “rush hour” sehr lange auf einen Aufzug warten. Auch der Frühstücksraum ist nicht groß genug für alle Gäste, man musste sich gedulden um einen Platz zu finden, aber es hat auch funktioniert :)

Quiet location, good sized room, comfortable, good breakfast and gym.

Sehr freundliches und junges Personal. Das Zimmer wurde jeden Tag gereinigt und es war sehr sauber. Wir hatten ein Zimmer im 25. Stock mit Blick auf The Edge. Es war für US Verhältnisse auch recht geräumig. Entgegen der anderen Bewertungen hatten wir keine Probleme mit dem Aufzug, was aber ggf. auch daran lag, dass wir immer gegen 7:00 zum Frühstück gegangen sind. Dieses ist übrigens für amerikanische Verhältnisse super (Bagel, Wurst, Käse, Aufstrich, Säfte, Müslibar mit Nüssen, Rosinen und Granola etc. , frisches Obst, Kaffee war auch trinkbar). Check out war erst um 13:00, das Gepäck konnte aufbewahrt werden. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen😃😃

Alles aus Plastik, aber das ist ja überall so in den USA.

Im gemütlichen Zimmer waren ein Kühlschrank, eine Mikrowelle und ein Bügelbrett. Die tägliche Reinigung hat zuverlässig geklappt. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. In der Nähe des Hotels befindet sich die U-Bahn-Station „Penn Station“ mit guter Anbindung in alle Richtungen.

Die Lage mitten in Manhattan ist zwar vorteilhaft, allerdings muss man damit rechnen, dass es sehr stressig, laut und teilweise chaotisch beim Verlassen der Hotels zugeht und viele Obdachlose in der Nähe sind. Das Frühstück war sehr voll, sodass man nach 7 Uhr teilweise keinen Platz mehr im Saal gefunden hat. Außerdem war die Auswahl beim Frühstück nicht sonderlich vielfältig.

Lifts were a long wait and breakfast crazy at times with limited seating.

Bon hôtel, bien situé (10 minutes à pieds de Times Square), proche métro (Penn station) toutes destinations ou quasi. Agréable de retrouver du calme en rentrant à l’hôtel, aucun bruit extérieur pour dormir. Personnel sympathique. Bon petit déjeuner avec du choix salé/sucré. Prise USB aux tables de chevets (pas besoin d’adaptateur). Gel douche, shampoing, après shampoing à disposition. Coffre fort, frigo, micro-onde, cafetière dans la chambre. Laverie au sous-sol (lave-linge/sèche-linge) 2$ très pratique.

Ne pas arriver tard au petit déjeuner, à l’ouverture toujours de la place. Après, cela avait l’air plus compliqué pour avoir une place sans attendre. Manque de placards pour ranger les affaires (pour une semaine, on s’adapte). Nous avions demandé une chambre avec vue pour notre lune de miel et les 40 ans de mon mari, dommage on nous a mis à l’étage le plus bas, vue sur un immeuble en rénovation…

The photos are a bit deceiving, it is not as tidy and luxurious as it looks.

A LOT of people. There were hundreds of people for breakfast, people were literally eating with plates on their laps on the lobby. Everything was plastic, the plates, forks, cups - the waste on each breakfast for the hundreds of people each day is absurd. It is a very limited breakfast, looked like a school cafeteria. In Europe, not even 2 starts hotels have this type of breakfast. A lot of dirty tables, a lot of noise. It was always a chaos. And we were there during low season, can’t imagine during December for instance. Also, asked at the reception if I could send a delivery from Amazon to the hotel, they were really nice and told me that it was fine, I just needed to add my name to the order. And then when I went to pick it up 2 days later, they asked me for TEN dollars, just for receiving the package. Something that they never informed me before and that would stop me from having it delivered in the first place. And there is no reason for this, it is just a way to make money, just to receive a package?! Absurd, never heard anything like this.

Chambre spacieuse et très propre ! Téléviseur grand écran avec l’application netflix. Le petit-déjeuner est copieux et il y a du choix pour tous. L’emplacement était idéal, à quelques pas de la station de métro et proche du centre (Time square). Dans l’ensemble assez calme et bien isolé des bruits extérieur.

Very comfortable bed and pillows

Breakfast was awful. Everything is plastic (including the food!) There is a sign that says recycling is done off site but this basically implies that it will be sorted on the street outside by the homeless to earn some money. Location is surrounded by drug use; ambulances treating people on the street etc. Did not feel safe in the area. The rooms weren’t serviced every day and when we asked for it to be done we were delivered towels, toilet paper and bin bags for us to sort out ourself.

Close to the train station and near Times Square so access to multiple subway stations. It was clean and bright

Room felt a little cramped but still decent for New York City
