I and my friends had an amazing 2 and a half week stay at Henlesby over the busy Christmas period in Ghana. Lawrencia was a lovely host and made us feel very welcome in the home, we were in constant communication from the moment we booked and organised collection from the airport upon arrival (for a reasonable cost) and our heavy luggage was also brought straight up to the apartment. We were all young women staying in the property and felt safe at all times in the area, there is also 24.7 security at the gate- both Charles and Simon were lovely. There was not much for us to do in the area itself, however, the location is less than a 10-minute drive to Labadi / Laboma beach - 15 minutes to Osu & about 20 minutes to Accra mall. Due to the location, we were also able to avoid most of the excessive traffic during the busy periods. We travelled by taxi/ uber on our trip but the trotro bus area is a stone throw away from the property. The neighbours are all very friendly and happy to help - there are also small businesses around the vicinity for basics and essentials such as snacks and water. The best part of the apartment was the airconditioning and luxury beds - fresh linen was always readily available. We, fortunately, managed to avoid being bitten by mosquitos. Cleanliness, safety and comfort was never an issue. There were no unexpected surprises the photos on the listing are an accurate reflection of the apartment. Being our first time in Ghana we were thoroughly impressed by our stay and customer service and overall I plan to 100% return here again on my next trip to Ghana.

The balcony at the front of the property is a great space, with loads of sunshine. It would be lovely to have some outdoor seating and possibly a small table to dine at because there is limited sunshine in the living room. There should also be more basic cutlery in the kitchen such as plates, mugs and bowels.

It's was a wonderful time and stay at Henlesby. I really liked the apartment and how it's well furnished with just everything you need. Its quite private, quiet,easily accessible and at a peaceful location. Looking forward to going back on my next vacation.

Yes. Bed is beautiful

The electricity switch for hot water kept going off each time I set out to use, so I practically couldn't use hot water. So they should repair this and make it work all the time.
