Hong Kong Ocean Park Marriott Hotel

Super friendly staff at the reception absolutely no qualms! Great location especially if you want to be close to the beach (repulse bay is only a few stops away) and the ocean park is literally next door!

The first room I was given had a very strong damp, musty smell, almost like mold or mildew. It was unpleasant enough that I asked to change rooms. The following day, I moved to another room. At first it seemed fine, but later in the evening I started noticing the same damp musty smell again. Even the corridors had a noticeable mildew-like odor, so I suspect this may be a more general issue with the property rather than just one particular room. If you are sensitive to smells, humidity or musty odors, this is definitely something worth considering before booking. I really think the hotel should investigate the source of this.

Loved the location, the pool is great! The restaurants are superb, we had the most fabulous birthday dinner in the private room of the steakhouse. The bed and shower are very comfortable.

I thought the breakfast was super chaotic and felt a little overwhelming. Shame about the coffee machines (coffee was not great) and concentrate juice, made it feel less 5*. Also, too bad the spa was quickly fully booked. Called a day ahead and I was still too late…
