Our stay at Stone Creek House was just perfect - Carlos was the most helpful and friendly host we could dream of. From check-in, where we were picked up at the ferry at arrival, Carlos took care of us in every possible way. He made sure that we experienced Romblon and 'the real philippines', the culture and the nature in a way we could not have done by ourselves. We went island hopping with Arnold (Carlos' assistant) and had the best day snorkeling and cliff diving in the clearest water we've ever seen and - the best part of it - swimming with sea turtles without any other tourists there, since Arnold knew just the right places to go. Carlos is the perfect host and he is one of the main reasons our stay at Romblon Island was above expectations, because he helped us arrange and guide us with everything, e.g. scooter rental, paddle boarding, etc. We can highly recommend going to the beautiful Romblon Island - but to get the most out of it, stay at Stone Creek House!

Location It isn’t a beach view but can only recommend to stay in town. Great to have access to supermarkets, restaurants, ATM, pharmacy etc. You will spend the whole day outside anyways so this location is really convenient! Host Carlos is the best host you can hope for. Extra responsive, helpful, arranging scooter and island hop and really anything else you need. He even went back to the hospital after we had left the island as we were missing some documents we needed. And if you’re cool enough, he’ll even let you hang with him and his buddies ;) Huge thanks to his guy Arnold who was also so helpful and amazingly kind! Accommodation Loved the design, the place is made mostly of marble and you have everything you need. AC, hot water, WiFi, Netflix, Xbox, board games... Carlos thought of every details to make the guest feel at home. Arnold picks you up from the port with his NYC cab trike and will bring you back when you leave, arranging tickets for the boat etc.

Carlos and Arnold were awesome hosts - they went out of their way at every opportunity to make our 4 night stay in Romblon memorable. From organising island hopping, renting mopeds, recommending the best local restaurants and meals and even getting involved with some late night karaoke, the guys were fantastic. Oh, and the accommodation was perfect too!
