The visit went very well, with one minor exception. Anne explained that she recently upgraded to a newer Smart lock on the house. It had issues. We had to wait 20 minutes when we arrived for a technician to let us in. Then, the next evening, the code did not work when we got back from dinner. I called Anne again and she gave me the code for a physical key, which I kept for the duration of our trip. However, the next day after a noon walk on the beach, I did not need the key because my code worked fine. However, that night the same code did not work.
In all cases, Anne answered every time I called with an issue. Let me repeat - Answered. No voice mail, no calling back, no phone tag. She was very responsive when there was a problem. Just need to work out the kinks with the new hardware.
Otherwise, it was a very enjoyable and memorable stay.

This is a top notch location; very clean and well equipped house; easy access to the beach and nice pool; protected enclave so you don’t need to worry about traffic (especially if you travel with young children.)

Anne was an amazing host and the house was perfect for the size of our family. We enjoyed coffee on the deck and enclosed porch with ocean views, the pool and accessibility to all the greater Charleston area offers. Would stay again for sure.

My siblings and our spouses get together at different location every six months or so. For this trip we picked Charleston, SC are and picked this wonderful property in Isle of Palms, SC. The house served our needs perfectly. We need comfortable seating for the six of us (old farts) and three comfortable beds that are at least Queen sized. My wife and I even talked about how this house would be great for our whole family with our two kids, spouses and four grandchildren. We’ll keep this one in mind for the future.

Wonderful weekend
This property was as advertised. The location is excellent, just a few steps to the beach and a 20-30 min drive to downtown Charleston (depending on traffic). The home is well equipped including wall mounted hair dryers in the bathrooms and soap dispensers in the showers. Plenty of parking, and the neighborhood is surprisingly quiet given how close to the main road it is. The only negative we found was that they only provided 2 trash bags for the primary garbage bins. When we inquired about it we were informed that we would need to go to the grocery store and purchase more. It would seem for a premium location and rate, something that basic would’ve been provided. The property has beach chairs, but not beach towels, so make sure to bring your own if you want to spend any time on the beach.

Lovely House, Good Location
We were 3 women in town to attend the Credit One Charleston Open tennis tournament at Daniel Island. The house was perfect for us. Great, easy to find location. We only had breakfast at the house and did not cook but the kitchen was well stocked and clean. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms nice. It was too cold to walk on the beach but does have a partial view across the street. We would not hesitate to stay again. Anne was easy to communicate with.

Beach Bound
The property was very clean and well prepared. Access is easy through an electronic door lock keyed to your own number. Super location fifty yards from the dunes with a boardwalk out to the sand - all the benefits of being on Palm Blvd. without being on Palm Blvd. (quiet!). The owner is friendly and very responsive. Very convenient to have an open-air deck as well as an enclosed, screened-in deck; it gives options depending on the weather and mosquitoes. Great spot to land for a relaxing beach week.

Great Location
This property was perfect location-wise to the beach and very comfortable. The owner has maintained it beautifully, though the extra contract which helps them accomplish this did prove to be a little anxiety-inducing (we were worried about staining towels on accident, etc). Pictures definitely do not do the place justice.

This property is five stars! Amazing location on Isle of Palms away from the traffic on Palm Blvd. The house was immaculate and the kitchen is very well-stocked. It is evident the owner cares very much about her property and we had a wonderful week!

Nice home very close to fairly uncrowded area of beach. Good basic pool was also uncrowded and well kept. Neighbors were friendly & quiet. Several good restaurants in the local area to choose from.

Relaxing getaway!
Great house with all of the needed amenities for a comfortable long duration stay. The beach is an easy/short walk from the house, and location is convienent to grocery store, restaurants, and shops. With location also being in a distinct community of similar houses; it also provides a nice feel of privacy while still in the heart of IOP. We will definitely consider a return trip in the future.

The kitchen is well stocked with pots/pans, plates, cups, utensils, etc. The bed sheets are very nice and everyone slept well in their beds. We enjoyed a day trip to Charleston & the Angel Oak, walked the beach several times every day, went swimming and my husband rode his bike to Sullivan's Island & Charleston. We liked going shelling, watching the ghost crabs on the beach & tiny hermit crabs in a couple of the tide pools. The late morning tide pools near our beach access were perfect kiddy pools for young families too. The beach near the house was very relaxing and not crowded. It got more crowed when we walked near the Isle of Palms County Park or Wild Dunes. We would definitely stay here again.

Our family of four felt at home during our 4 day stay. This was the cleanest & best maintained beach rental we've ever stayed in. The kitchen is well stocked with pots/pans, plates, cups, utensils, etc. The bed sheets are very nice and everyone slept well in their beds. We enjoyed a day trip to Charleston & the Angel Oak, walked the beach several times every day, went swimming and my husband rode his bike to Sullivan's Island & Charleston. We liked going shelling, watching the ghost crabs on the beach & tiny hermit crabs in a couple of the tide pools. Location, location!
Perfect size for two families, probably could squeeze 3 if all kids bunk together. Very short walk to beach, maybe 2 mins. Beach is amazing. Flat and our week it had waves to surf. Home does have some beach chairs not listed but nice to know and have. Nothing to complain about! Relax and enjoy Anne’s slice of heaven.

Wonderful IOP Vacation
IOP can get very busy with people driving from inland for a day at the beach, but this location is just far enough from the IOP Connector that very few daily beach goers drive to these public access points. So you have a good amount of beach to use without being overcrowded. The house is great. It is second row from the beach with neighborhood access. The pool is right out back. There is plenty of parking. As for the house, I told the owner that she should get some new pictures for the website as the current ones don't do it justice. The updates looked great in person and everything worked perfectly. Another plus is that the towels and sheets provided were significantly nicer than most linens you get at rentals. When you stay here, you really have everything you need for a great family vacation. We all agreed that we would gladly return in the future.

EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT EXCELLENT!
This summer of 2017 was our third rental of Anne's wonderful beach home. Each summer has been better than the year before as the grandkids have gotten older. From the excellent kitchen remodeling to the four main bedrooms plus the bunk room, outside shower, BBQ cookout, everyone enjoyed 'living' on the beach. We had local family over for sharing beach time and evening meals with no shortage of seating or meal prep space. Everyone voted to return for 2018!

This beach home is by far my favorite. My family has been renting this property for years and I can say it is wonderful. Very very clean and the kitchen is so well equipped its better than my home is! I would highly recommend this property !

Perfect beach house
Our family has rented a house on the Isle of Palms for the past 15 years and we have stayed here for the past 2. Previously we had rented 5 other houses in Sea Oats. The is the best place to stay on the Isle of Palms because the beach is a 2 minute walk, there is no busy road to cross, it is right across from Wild Dunes (great for bike riding), there is a community pool and it is 2 minutes from the Marina (we bring a boat). This is the best house we have stayed in because it is very clean, it has a screened in porch, everything works, it has a great outdoor shower and it has an awesome 3 bunk bed room which all the kids stay in. They love it!

golf gettaway
This was the 2nd time we've rented this home. It's the perfect house for a girls' golfing gettaway!! We had plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for 6 of us. Although we didn't cook, the kitchen was well stocked if we had wanted to. There are some fabulous golf courses near by, and the beach is right across the street. I love being able to walk the beach before we tee off. On our day off, we went into Charleston. Great shopping and restaurants!!! I had forgotten how much fun we had here 2 years ago... hope to come back next summer too!

Memorable
What a wonderful place to make memories! This is our second time to this wonderful home and we would return again & again. Our group of 8 'over 60' adults love to 'chill' at the beach & this is our favorite place! A few steps to the sand for our morning walks or afternoon sunning make it a perfect location, & the pool is a nice touch for a relaxing swim. This house has everything we need to make this a vacation to remember.

Fabulous house - fabulous location. Great for families with young children. Furnished so nicely and had everything we could have wanted. Owner was very accommodating. Have stayed here before and will definitely stay here again.

Great girls Get-a-Away
I had another wonderful girls get-a-away weekend on Isle of Palm! I love this house ..it is my 3rd stay over the past 8 years and I wish I could go more often for the great R + R. This trip was even better with the updated baths...gorgeous! And "my room" had a new bed..that was so comfy..though the little bunks before we cozy too. The house is large (though it feels like a cozy cottage) so each of us had our own room and bath ..lots of private time if you need it. I love to be at the beach during the cooler weather.. Walking in the early am with a jacket is heaven to me. We did a new outing this trip.... The tea plantation and the winery on Wadmalaw Island..together they are a great day trip. This house location is perfect and we did the regular wonderful restaurants and sites in Charleston...and returned to this precious comfortable cottage each night to chick flicks and PJ's and wine.. Knowing the pristine beach will be there for a quiet moment in the am..Life doesn't get better than that..

Isle of Palm holiday
The house was gorgeous...a 1 minute walk to the ocean and beach. The house was impeccably clean and had every homely comfort ... even beach toys and chairs! The owner was extremely helpful and even suggested a great breakfast place, the Boulevard Diner. It is a short drive to Charleston but you really can get the flavour of the old southern mansions by touring Isle of Palms.
