House is terrific, clean, and very comfortable, we were very pleased! We were especially impressed that the owners contacted us on the first morning we were there, having heard that the tub drains were running slow, and indicating that they would like to come by and clear them right away--we had just showered and discovered that to be true, but glad that we did not even have to make a call! Bob came by and we had a very nice chat, and then he took care of both tub drains and was on his way in about 15 minutes. The only minor issue was that the grill is old and somewhat rusty, so it took some thorough scraping for us to feel that it was safely usable; also the outside shower and porch did not appear to have been swept clean for some time. But we took a little time to clean them up and enjoyed the back deck, too. All in all, a very nice stay. Thank you, Carol and Bob!

Very clean and lovely beach house in a nice neighborhood. We really enjoyed our stay, the kitchen had everything we needed to make food, and the bedrooms and living space were spacious, bright, and beachy. Would absolutely go back!

This rental was great very clean and just the right size for our family. The trolly was great that came every half hour but parking tag was even better 😊 thank you for a wonderful week

We had a nice vacation, loved the pool. It’s a far walk to the beach with all chairs, coolers and towels, so would not recommend going that route. Brought our dog who is very well trained. She does not have ‘accidents’. When we arrived, the house was nice but not in perfect condition- it’s a rental and perfection was not expected, especially since it is supposed to be ‘pet friendly’. Upon departure, we left everything as we found it but did not vacuum. Unfortunately, we were accused of leaving pet stains on the Carpet and scuffs on the walls. Make sure you Inspect and report anything in the house that isn’t perfect upon arrival and be sure to clean thoroughly before you checkout or you will not get your deposit back. We have rented different houses in Bethany for the past 8 years and I will not stay here again.

My boys and I enjoyed a lovely mini vacation that was long overdue. The property was beautifully decorated and located perfectly to the beach and our family that’s lives near by. Loved the community and it’s trees/shade area that was so nice to walk my dog. The kitchen wonderful and was able to cook breakfast for my family. The only recommendation I would make is it’s time to replace the frying pans in the kitchen, but I was able to find one that was usable. Will definitely rent from this owner again. Top notch property!

We had an amazing week in Bethany at this property! The beach house was exactly as advertised, the accommodations were very comfortable, the host was very accessible and easy to communicate with. The location couldn't be beat, and we were so sad to leave when the trip was over! We will definitely stay again!!

We enjoyed walking to the beach, only 1/2 mile, but when our friend joined us, who didn't enjoy the walk as much, we learned its hard to park by the beach, the "meters" only lasted 1 1/2 hrs, not enough for dinner and shopping, and thank heaven for the resident pass, which allowed us to park at "resident" spots for free. We used the trolley, but then learned the trolley ended on Monday Sept 13. The condo was clean, very well equipped, TV worked well to watch movies, etc, but we're not TV watchers. It was a real shame the WIFI was basically non-existent, and my cell coverage on Verizon was one bar. When I read this critique prior to coming, I said, but its vacation, its a good thing to have no WIFI, but in fact, wanting to look up where to go to dinner, who was open, (many restaurants closed Mon, Tues, even Mon-Wed, and its a shame to not know this before you arrive at a closed door--remember we were there after Labor Day). So we usually looked things up while at the beach. I really hope the owner reconfigures the WIFI, and then this would be a perfect spot.

Well stocked and maintained, veryclean, great location, but had some issues with WiFi.

We have been vacationing in Bethany Beach for 7 years and always stayed at the same place but that home was no longer available. We were searching for a new, pet-friendly place and the reviews were great so we gave this place a try. The place was clean and enough space for our family of 4. It does need some updating as the dining chairs are not in the best shape, the wicker chair is very squeaky and the couch is on its last leg. Adding curved shower bars would make the showers feel larger. The community pool and tennis courts were wonderful and the neighborhood was quiet and family friendly. Being on the trolley line was awesome and was an easy walk to the beach and boardwalk too. The only complaint is the terrible WiFi and phone service while inside. The WiFi does not work. We contacted the owner regarding this issue but did not hear back which is really unfortunate. This lack of communication made the other small issues feel bigger during our stay and without knowing the WiFi was updated, we probably would not stay here again.

Property was immaculate, great decor with well stocked kitchen in a unique wetland location with great pool and good dog walking. However internet connection through Mediacom, the supplier for that area was horrible, pitiful, 99% non existent leaving us with with no desire to rent In Villas of Bethany West unless another internet supplier provides an adequate upgrade.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The property was decorated nicely, well stocked and clean. Owners super friendly and gave us awesome recommendations for eating out in the area! And our dog loved the scenic walks!

We took our dog with us to Woof Bungalow in the quiet off season and had a very relaxing time. The property was very clean and updated; the location is quiet and an easy walk or jog to the beach. We loved the close proximity to a couple of restaurants within walking distance. We would definitely stay here again!

My family and I enjoyed a nice week at the property in Bethany Beach in July. The place was clean and the location was nice. After staying the week my family left the place spotless. After returning home, the owner stated that we would not be getting our refund back because the vertical blinds in the house were broken. Those blinds were never working when I arrived but I never said anything because I really didn't use them. After sending her a note about the situation, the owners never replied back. Renters beware. Please check everything in unit to make sure everything is properly working and not broken because you may be accused of breaking it. Its a shame because I did enjoy my stay there but was wrongly accused of something that I did not do. I would have stayed at this rental again in the future but the owner lost a good renter. In addition I would have given a good review but due to the circumstances I will never stay there again.

This was the perfect place for our getaway. Location was great and easy to get to things. The only problem was the WiFi connection was poor as well as the cellular service. Missed calls and text messages.
