The property was not clean upon arrival. Contacted the management company. Tammy was extremely responsive and sent someone the next day to clean thoroughly. Tammy was very professional and helpful.The property itself is not in good condition. Needs a lot of fixing up. The layout is odd. The screened porch and yard were nice.

The place was even better than we expected, the customer service polite and prompt and very accessible. LOVED the house.. pretty, lots of great decor details, very comfortable clean beds and furniture, generously stocked kitchen, laundry, & baths, great shower size and water pressure, lots of hot water, our 2 pooches felt very welcomed and considered, yards fun, and of course very nice neighborhood. We were there in July and wished we'd booked longer than our 3 days. There were several very intense thunderstorms that were fun and comfy to observe from a cozy safe inside. My 8 year old granddaughter has already claimed another visit at the exact same house.

Our vacation was amazing! This is the 2nd time visiting Fun In The Sun. Walking distance to the south beach, the pier and all the shops. Best place to eat Stingrays. Cleaning crew should pay close attention to the living room sofa, it has a very foul odor. Other than that the house was acceptable. The Mermaid staff was a pleasure to work with. We will differently work with them again.

We arrived from the Chicago, IL area to find Fun in the Sun a wonderful home and comfortably settled in for our stay. We traveled with our 9 year old Welsh Terrier. She was very happy in the home. This was not our first trip so while we explored the area (including Savannah).Unfortunately Hurricane Ian was predicted to hit the area, so we elected to leave early. We had consulted with Tammy and she was very helpful in helping us make the decision.We will return to be able to enjoy a full week on Tybee in the future.As for the house. We found it clean and welcoming. Thank you to the staff for your help and friendly personality!

Cute CottAge
We loved the cottage. Check in/out was smooth with no problems. The only thing negative is the air conditioner had to be kept at 72 degrees and with 95 degree weather, it was not cool enough.

Arrived at the vacation house found out that the big oak tree was gone which was terribly disappointed for that was one reason we chose this location. Due to heavy rains there was a lot of Palm bark scattered throughout yard and all over the carport.which tracked alot of dirt in the house.overall a good stay but housekeeping could have cleaned better.

We enjoyed father's Day with 3 fathers on Tybee. Our family had 3 different houses because there were 16 of us. The weather was gorgeous and our time at the beach very pleasant. Our house is on a dangerous rode. Much caution needs to be taken when backing out. also walking on the road with cars speeding is a risk. Be prepared to leap into yards or bushes.

Arrived as first time visitors to Tybee May 20th, 2018 and loved our week long stay. Fun in the Sun cottage was perfect for this mom and 4 grown children. VERY clean and spacious. Plenty of room for all of us. Diane was very helpful and gave us many insights about the the island. We spent a lot of time on the beach as the cottage is a short 4 blocks. Easy walk. I would definitely recommend renting bicycles. We only used our car once the entire week. I would recommend Mermaid Cottages in a heartbeat!!
