Room was very clean and spacious, had extra touches like milk, water, fruit and cereals in the fridge.
Very welcoming staff, we had evening meal and breakfast both were excellent quality and huge portions..
Shower temperature switch was difficult to turn.
Just a small suggestion, maybe offer a small plug in nightlight, it was very very dark once all lights were turned off, as I have balance problems it was difficult to find the bathroom in the night without walking into the furniture..

Excellent breakfast - really went the extra mile to cater for my diabetic restrictions and produced a delicious breakfast. The staff were lovely, friendly and attentive without being intrusive.
Shower was very hard to turn off. Bathroom floor could have been a bit cleaner, but other than that it was very nice.

This is a great pub and in an incredible location. Room was clean and fit for purpose. The owner was incredibly helpful. Breakfast freshly cooked snd tasted delicious

Fabulous staff, and outstanding landlady. Lovely food at both dinner and breakfast. Great room with over-and-above extras at the tea and coffee station. Fridge in room. Very comfortable double bed. Wonderful woodland garden. Easy and plentiful parking right outside. Quirky posh chatty clientele.
Steak delicious, but “rare” requested and “medium” provided. Too British to mention it at the table. Shower controls in the upstairs room somewhat tricky. Turn full on and bring a strong wrist. And again to turn it off.
