The Welldiggers Arms

Often drive past the Welldiggers pub, and decided to stay for a wedding event for a couple of nights. Room was lovely and cosy, view was even better. Great little stay.

Loved the rustic feel of an old Inn, breakfast was amazing, we did not dine is as we were meeting friends. The room felt very cosy and we liked the Butcombe brand so much that we have booked another inn from their range for the next leg of our road trip

Yes.

Beautiful location! Some of the rooms have gorgeous field views. They have thought of everything -too hot? Too cold? Need to iron a shirt that’s been left in the bottom of your bag? Not a problem, you’ll find a heater, fan and iron ready in your room. The rooms are beautifully decorated with a homely feel and period features. The breakfast on offer was delicious with a buffet and cooked to order options. The pub itself is full of period features and cosy additions like a selection of games to play. The customer service was excellent throughout, would recommend to anyone looking for a cosy stay in a great location, close to Petworth.
