My husband and I wanted a quick getaway after a busy holiday season. We arrived in the middle of a snow storm but the property owners keep the area as safe as possible. The house itself is gorgeous, we loved all the vintage touches. The property is a dream, we will definitely be back.

We had the most amazing weekend staying in the Treehouse property on the alpaca farm. We stayed over New Year’s 2024 weekend and had a wonderful time! The Treehouse was very comfortable for two people. Although there is no oven, we still were able to make some fantastic meals during our stay with the fully stocked kitchen. The property has a great location - right between Taos Ski Valley and Downtown Taos. We loved every minute that we spent here during our trip. We would love to come back again during the summer months for a relaxing trip. Feeding the alpacas at the end of our weekend was the best! I

The treehouse was fantastic. It was adorable, clean, and fully stocked eliminating the need to bring essentials. The setting was storybook worthy and was close to the slopes for skiing. Such a fun stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Jim and Jun's tree house. It is a quaint and unique house surrounded by large Cottonwood Trees in an idyllic valley setting next to a river. It is in a good location close to Arroyo Seco, about 5 miles from Taos and also convenient to the Rio Grande Gorge bridge. Jun met us immediately upon arrival and explained what we needed to know about the tree house. It turned out to be a nice birding spot and a perfect place for a walk. Jim was kind enough to let us feed and pet their Alpacas one afternoon as it is also an Alpaca farm. They were so nice and accommodating during our stay. We would certainly return to this location if we are back in the Taos area in the future without hesitation!

This property is beautiful and fit the bill connecting with nature and each other. Our host was accommodating and caring. We loved it and will return at later date.

Our only regret about this property is that we didn’t stay longer. This place is something right out of a fairytale.
We absolutely adored Jim and Jun and made good friends with Bollogard and the alpacas, not to mention the lovely wildlife all around us. One early morning walk led me to the pond where I was joined by some ducks and a cute muskrat.
Very convenient to Taos. Close enough for all amenities and the Rio Hondo river, but magically tucked away as a private sanctuary. Really the best of all worlds.
The tiny kitchenette perfectly fit our needs and the cozy bed was awesome after a long day of sightseeing. The little gas stove was just right to make sure we woke up toasty warm in the cooler mornings. We didn’t use the laundry facilities but appreciated the options should we need it.
Honestly, should Jim and Jun ever want to retire, we would be extremely interested in overseeing or owning this lovely getaway.

Beautiful stay. It was not only beautiful and comfortable, but so peaceful.. Spent our 40th anniversary here to celebrate - cooked out steaks on the gas grill, pondered over the private pond and its beauty - spell bound by the babbling brook - and the grand finale - star gazed at night and saw 4 shooting stars - the sky is brilliant and bold here. There is no other place like this - amazing. Jim and Jun are the host that everyone dreams of.

This property provide the perfect weekend escape. Jun and Jim were great hosts. The treehouse idyllic and provided the perfect place to relax after a day of adventuring in the Taos area. The alpaca were friendly and fun to see along with lots of birds and deer that roamed through. When I return to Taos I will be staying here.

What a fantastic gem in New Mexico. I was there for several days of remote work and change of scenery. Just a lovely property and the most amazing hosts. Jim and Jun are so welcoming and I cannot thank them (and the alpacas, Beauregard) enough. Great views from the valley and short drive to the Rio Grande Gorge Bridge and Taos ski area. The hike to Williams Lake worth all the huffing and puffing to get there. I have every intent of returning.

Me and my boyfriend had first vacation together in the tree house. The location is beautiful and quick ride to Taos and other small communities. The building was a little dirty/dusty and needs a thorough clean.

Everything about the tree house was wonderful. The grounds are beautifully kept, perfect for relaxing. Jun and Jim were the perfect hosts. My husband realized he left his wallet when we were part way out of Taos so we had to return to get it. Jim had already found it and Jun was on the phone when we arrived trying to alert us that they had it. Honest, special people.

This exquisitely designed & crafted treehouse was an utter delight for we two "almost-retired" folks who were exploring the Sante Fe, Taos, Abiquiu art & museum scene. The property's multiple acres are a botanical dream, complete with a babbling brook, charming wooden bridge & a pond with ducks. The hosts are a fascinating couple who will gladly accompany you to pet their fluffy & friendly alpacas and Pyrenees Dog. We're already planning a return trip!

This is an incredible private treehouse perfect for a quiet couple’s retreat. The property and grounds are immaculate. Everything is very clean and well maintained. The hosts are kind and prompt in their communication.
Many thoughtful details have been afforded to the guests needs; nice linen, coffee, plentiful towels, lovely cups & plates, mini fridge, micro and stove. Stairs lead up to the queen bedroom with a nice perspective of the vaulted ceiling. Natural light fills the space.
The treehouse overlooks a river fed pond surrounded by Aspen trees. Ducks and muskrats happily reside. The alpacas are an added bonus, as was my favorite guard dog Bollegard. He is so handsome!
The drive to Taos is quick and scenic. Do not miss this lovely property with the very thoughtful Jun and Jim.
Thank you!

This place was an excellent stay for us. It was a great location for both getting into Taos and experiencing the beautiful natural sights of the area—some of which for us were the Rio Grande Gorge and Bridge, the Slide and Picuris Trails, Arroyo Seco, and driving the Enchanted Circle. Jun was a wonderful hostess, welcoming us right from the start to this beautiful farm in the valley with its shady trees and water views. The Treehouse was very clean, comfortable and quiet but also was a unique Vrbo that I would recommend as a memorable one for you.

The treehouse proved to be everything expected and more. The property was beautiful, serene and perfectly private. Plan to spend an extra day to just sit by the pond or on the porch to soak in the peace and tranquillity.

Excellent well engineered tree/raised home from which to sally forth and venture to Arroyo Seco, Taos Ski Area, Taos, Valle Escondido, and Angel Fire. The property is peaceful, secluded, secure, and at home in nature with trees, pond, birds, and alpacas. The hosts were friendly and available, but not at all intrusive.
Would definitely go back!
