Our family of 5 adults had a great experience in this condo! It was exactly as pictured online. It was comfortable and very clean. The updated kitchen and bathrooms were very nice, along with the tv streaming service provided. The board games and puzzles were great for rainy weather. Bring your own paper products and laundry detergent. My mom uses a walker and she was able to manuever around pretty well. The only issue was the bathroom doors were too narrow for her walker to fit through but we made it work. The walk in shower with the built in seat was good to have. It was convenient having our towels and bed sheets provided. Two less things to pack! The bed mattresses in 2 of the bedrooms seemed a little dated but we all slept well. The view from the living area/balcony was just awesome! It was wonderful hearing the ocean waves when the sliding glass door and master bedroom windows were open. We did not use any of the amenties at Sea Colony but appreciated the availabilty of the sand wheelchairs they had to use. Luckily, because we rented at the end of Sept., they only charged us $15/person for our property badges. Because it is such a large complex, we were a little confused when we 1st arrived to check in but found our way around pretty easily after that. The owner was very responsive to all my questions. I would stay in this condo again if we plan a trip in the future.

Sea Colony itself was a perfect family vacation spot for young kids. The pools and beach access could not have worked out better. While the condo was nice, we were disappointed to see that it’s not “beachy” as expected but a bit outdated. The furniture was fine for kids, since we weren’t worried about them ruining anything - however, it did not seem entirely clean (couch, chairs…). Overall, great trip and would come back to Sea Colony as a whole.

The owner was more than terrific. We had to switch dates and he was so gracious. He was also very proactive. Concerned about construction in the building where we originally rented, he moved us to another accommodation even more lovely and at the same price. That is a caring and careful landlord. The place was spotless and exactly as described. I would rent this unit again in a heartbeat.

Closing of facilities was not mentioned… Labor Day ended many pools access. The $50/person fee wasn’t mentioned either.

We have stayed in Sea Colony many times and this unit was perfect for our family of 4 adults and 2 toddlers. The kitchen and bathroom upgrades were nice. Keyless entry would have been preferred, but we had several copies of the key so it wasn’t too inconvenient. Would absolutely stay again!

While the location and view of the property was very good, the kitchen was terribly equipped; not one knife which would cut a vegetable, no colander to drain pasta, not one large bowl for salad, silverware was the cheapest possible and the kitchen drawers were not clean inside. Also, the towels were thin and did not absorb water after a shower. While most units at Sea Colony rent from Saturday to Saturday or Sunday to Sunday, this unit rented from Sunday to Saturday which made it overpriced for both the quality of the accommodations and the length of the stay. I would not recommend this unit unless you bring your own kitchen things and clean it yourself when you get there.

We enjoyed our stay very much! The condo was beautiful and very clean and the ocean view was fantastic! The property owner always answered questions in a timely manner. The area is very family friendly and laid back. I most certainly will be coming back in the near future.

Nice place! Primary bedroom has large sliding windows facing the ocean, so you can fall asleep to waves. Sunrise off balcony is beautiful!
Pro tip: if you’d like a key to access the locker with beach chairs, ask early, as it can take awhile for the local people to deliver it.

This was a sister getaway short stay and we all loved this Sea Colony Condo. It was just as advertised and when you arrive (highly recommend doing this in daylight) the view from the balcony is stunning! The condo was very clean and decorated nicely-the master bed and bath was like being at a spa. There was just enough room to not feel cramped as in other condos we've stayed. The kitchen has been updated and that helped with the meals we prepared there. Parking was great and the automatic doors to the elevator are a real plus! The indoor pool and spa were also great. We were very lucky, we experienced the Tropical Depression Nicole on our Friday and we shopped/then hunkered down-it was not bad. We were rewarded the next day-it was glorious! 72 degrees and sunny, we were able to sit on the Beach in November! (the condo also has beach chairs). This is what we came for: the sun, sand and sea and the area didn't disappoint The area restaurants were very good and we also ate in Rehoboth Beach up the road. Overall, an excellent mini-vacation in a beautiful complex. Would definitely stay here again, and you should consider this for a great stay on the Delaware shore.

Perfect condo for families who want to be close to the beach. Sea Colony is so convenient and is great for families with young kids. The unit was just as depicted and worked very well for our family. Would stay again!

The condo needs to be painted and the carpets cleaned or replaced. When we arrived the range was encrusted with the last dinner of the recent renters which we had to clean. Also the locker with chairs was not accessible. There is also smudges/ dirt on all the doors.

The restaurants we visited were excellent and very accommodating.

Great for family with young ones!
This was the perfect getaway for our family. The view of the ocean from the sixth floor was incredible every morning, a great way to wake up. A very quick and easy walk right out to the beach and plenty to do nearby either in walking distance or just a very short drive. We would come back here for sure.
