If that's your priority, we suggest reserving a unit on a higher floor.

Condo was perfectly located in the right place. Loved the beach chairs and umbrella in the closet and we purchased floats and left there for future vacationers. Would definitely book again. Only suggestion would be to trim down the bushes in front of the condo because they do block the direct view being on the 2nd floor. Loved the unit though.

Really enjoyed staying here, it was clean and close to everything we needed. Loved being able to just walk out to the beach. Would love to see the pool change their no ball rule to no balls except for blow up beach balls. :)

Big unit, plenty of space. Very clean when we got there. Disappointed that we had to carry around keys all the time. Most units have codes, much easier for checking in and out plus no worries of losing keys at the beach. The unit served our needs quite well. Baths and kitchen are quite dated and could use a refresh. If you are sensitive to neighbors above, could be a problem as we could hear them quite a lot.

If I wanted to nitpick, I would say that the unit could use some updating - the windows and sliding door were old and hard to open, and the cleaning could have been a little better - under cabinets and beds especially. It had many items that need repair: toilet, front door lock, master bedroom windows, microwave handle broken, patio doors don't lock. for th price we paid, the 74' limit was an insult. The pros of the location is that it is quiet and the beach is not as crowded. The cons is that you pretty much have to drive to get to shopping and restaurants.

Family of 4 with 2 adult children we were able to enjoy our vacation yet still distance ourselves from others. We ate our meals in, either cooked them ourselves or picked up take out. We were far enough away from everyone with the private beach but just a short drive away for supplies.

Reviewer Comments: Construction caused us to move rooms, which was also dealing with construction, in fact it started every day at 6 am. I know this from the noise pollution from the heavy machinery and the fact that my two year old made sure that once the machines woke him, he would in turn wake us up. And the noise went all day, every day. Our room had sand in every closet , dead insects in every room. The second bed room had a candy bar wrapper under one of the beds and Carrots under the dresser, we left them where we found them. I have pictures of all this as well. Also, construction crew committed a number of OSHA violations such as maneuvering the heavy equipment around and directly over my family and I as we attempted to walk out to the beach . Feel lied to and some what robbed so we will not be using VBRO again or staying at Lands end .also , staff left notes on our door to clean sand off our stuff using the watering spots, those water faucets just happened to also be broken or turned off at the time so thanks for the double standard .

We always come to Lands end every year for vacation and have not been disappointed ever. This year we booked very early in the year so we could get the unit we like. However, we were informed a couple months in advance that the preferred unit was having some repairs. We chose another unit. Then a couple weeks before our trip we were notified that unit also was having repairs. Now with a couple of weeks notice none of the units were what we had in mind. This was disturbing however we were still optimistic that our vacation was going to be good. We were very unhappy with a couple of things in this unit. The bed was totally the worst bed I have ever slept on. Clearly both sides had huge indentations. You could tell just by looking at the bed made. Clearly any inspection of the unit would have alerted someone that it was not a good mattress . The single beds in the guest room not much better. I believe before renting this unit again those things should be addressed.

The unit is very spacious and quite comfortable. The kitchen is a little tight but definitely doable. There were some things that were lacking for use of a long term rental but wouldn't be for weekly. However, this would not deter us from renting again. The spectacular sunsets occurred every night right outside our window! We were fortunate to not only have the rental manager availabl but the owner was on the premises also and introduced himself the very first day. We have stayed at Lands End Condos before and enjoy the size of the units, the beautiful pool and beach. It is very quiet and the beach is far enough from the public area to never be overly crowded. The only downside is you have to drive to shopping and dining.
