Property is located on Sunset Beach, beautiful location and close to everything. Area has recovered some from the 2024 hurricane season, but the beach and neighborhoods are really beautiful. Condo is a little dated, but priced well and the beach access is outstanding.

We had a great time all things considered. We enjoyed the unit and its location and view of the ocean. However, lots of construction going on both on the roof and in the unit above dimmed our overall opinion. Difficult moments ensued for 2 sick members in our group having to be further inconvenienced for almost the entire week by very loud grinding and hammering noise from the unit above between 9:00 a.m. and approx 3:00 p.m. The work on the roof caused a major disruption with the A/C when the work crew accidentally destroyed the wiring to the control box for our unit. The property manager did not hesitate to accommodate an emergency repair after hours. A day or two later a different A/C crew came by and said they needed to turn off the AC for the entire building until 1:00 p.m. This annoyance happened as by this time our sick travelers were running 102 temps. The manager said they couldn't do anything about the construction and maintenance. I disagree as I am aware that technology and communication methods do exist to thwart a lack of coordination within the condo complex. It should be fixed so that potential renters can understand that they might be inconvenienced. Had we known ahead of time we could have chosen a different location. Since there was no notice I think it speaks to an uncaring attitude. The manager did offer a $250 rebate which I rejected as insufficient under the circumstances especially considering the missed opportunity for advanced notification.

We enjoyed our stay in this Apt. a lot. What we didn't like was that it wasn't 100% clean. We hab to clean the drawers before we could use them for our clothes.

The host was disinterested in my issue with undisclosed construction occurring early morning (7:30 - 8:10 am) for 3 days to the exterior of the building we were in during our stay. After suggesting I was not being truthful about it, I sent videos and still photos as proof. She referred back to the terms of our rental contract and offered a "nominal" discount for the inconvenience, but never came through with this despite my correspondence with host. Other than that, the location was beautiful, but issues with hosts cast a negative vibe on my holiday vacation.
