We booked this property while working in Puerto Rico, and it was the Oasis we needed! The perfect little home away from home, and the host Arturo was so kind and welcoming. Don't hesitate to book here, you won't regret it!

Great condo for 2 families to split slept 8 comfortably .
The courses are not pull out and would only sleep children . We paid to sleep 2 more on couches and linens were not provided until the 3rd night so be sure to ask for those. You definitely need a golf cart to enjoy the resort amenities- golf, tennis, beach as this condos is located a distance from all and there are hills . Arturo the manger was responsive and helpful both as we planned and during our stay . I should mention He offered to refund us the 2 nights without bedding for the couches which was fair. The condo has beach towels , boogie boards and a large cooler for the beach which were all used. We would come back for sure !

This was a very cozy villa located inside the Rio Mar Wyndham Resort. An approximate two minute drive to the beach. There was a large pool with security. The beach was clean with lots of seating available. This was a great family - friendly resort with excellent eateries near the resort.
The owner was very communicative, responsive and a gracious host. The villa was comfortable and clean with ample space. I would definitely recommend.

I will start by saying this condo has the potential to be a lovely property. It is in a convenient location with a 5 minute walk to the beach. The pool was uncrowded and small but nice.
The property manager mentioned there were renovations going on. I asked what we should expect. He said it was just painting to the outside of the building. However, we arrived to puddles of blue liquid on the stair case that was leaking from the walls from a renovation that was going on. Someone cleaned it the first day, but the puddles returned everyday. We had to clean ourselves them as they were a hazard to slipping on the stairs.
We arrived 2 hours after the official check in time and the condo was not ready. It was still being cleaned and there were no sheets on one of the beds. The person was apologetic about getting a late start.
After reporting all of this to the property manager he did offer to give us a full refund if we wanted to leave. However, it is difficult to figure out a new place to stay once you are already there. We decided to stay. He did offer us a discount, which we appreciated.
They do charge a deposit up front even if you get damage insurance. It did take 1 1/2 weeks after our departure to get our refund and I had to inquire about it a couple of times.
Once the renovations are done, this will be a lovely place, but while the work is going on I'm not sure it should be rented.

The villa itself was very clean except for water stains on the stairs. Annie was very good at getting back to me when I called and text, never got to meet her or our guest.
Only complainant the kitchen needs some more pots and pans for larger family meals.

This area of the Wyndham property is aged and under some construction (roofing of nearby buildings) but we were never disturbed by the work. My husband and I traveled with our elderly mothers (85 and 88 years) to visit our daughter who lives in PR. Overall the stay was good and the host was responsive to our requests. We rented two golf carts, there were actually 3 in our parking space but two had flat tires and they had trouble getting the mechanic out to fix the 2nd cart so the host refunded my money which ended up being fine, we really didn't need the second cart. The golf cart we did rent needed service, like one of the rear handles was not attached making it unusable, with an elderly person or child on the back it poses a potential danger so we were cautious when driving with our mom's. You could get by without the golf carts if you have other transportation but the carts are a pleasant way to get around the property. I would stay here again: the Wyndham grounds are very nice, the property is a little worn but fine overall and the host is good.

We had a lovely time at the Wyndham Rio Grande Villas. Arturo, Danny and Ricardo were very communicative and helped us with all of our needs. They scheduled our transportation, did some initial grocery shopping and oriented us to the area. Our favorite things about this trip was the on site amenities—so many delicious restaurant options were available on site and having access to the pool/beach area a few minutes from the villa. For delicious flavorful Puerto Rican dinner go to Iguanas and get the pork appetizer and the chuleta can can! For out of this world drinks and food go to Roots Coastal Kitchen. The apartment itself was in good condition, though some updates are needed as there was water filtering in from outside to the staircase inside and outdoors could use some TLC. The bedrooms, Kitchen, Living room were all great. Beds were extra comfortable and everything was clean. Having golf carts on site or some sort of vehicle is a must as all of the amenities are too far to walk comfortably.

This property is not conducive to being part of a convention at the Wyndham property. Its to far, and with several people in our family and the lack of the promised golf cart all on different schedules, it was a very frustrating.

Our family trip, which included 7 people and 3 generations, was a wonderful vacation. The villa is beautiful and roomy. The beachfront resort is spectacular and very secure. The host and staff were gracious and responsive to our needs. Only drawback was operational issues with the golf cart which did not allow us to explore as freely as we would have liked. All around a very enjoyable experience!

The property was spacious and clean. Beds were very comfortable. Exactly as pictured. There is really no view at all from the property and the beach is about a 10 minute walk or quick car ride. Overall, I have no real complaints about the stay.

The Villa was great. Exactly as the photos. The security in the resort and Villa were top notch. The bathrooms were renovated. The bedrooms were great and the beds were very comfortable. We were nine including kids and there was space for everybody. The views were spectacular. I have only a few suggestions; a bigger coffee maker, more and better towels, and a full gas canister for golf cart. But those were minor inconveniences. We will stay there again.

We loved our stay at Arturo’s place. We traveled with our 2-year old son and our nanny. Being a young family, we were looking for a place in Puerto Rico convenient to the beach and other activities, a place that was large everyone so everyone had their own space (sleep is so important to us right now), and with convenient amenities. This checked all of our boxes and more. The duplex was impeccably clean, the beds were comfortable, and we loved the covered porch. The golf cart was a must. We’d use it to go down to the beach during the day and then at night for our neighborhood golf cart tour that our son loved. We’d ride down to the Wyndham to check out the parrots. The kitchen was nice to have for all our staples. We ate at the resort the first night. Food was as expected for a resort. We preferred eating off the property to experience the local offerings, but it was convenient to have options on the property. Danny gave us some great recommendations. We had a rental car so we did a few day trips to different places on the Island. Everything was either 30 minutes or an hour away, which was totally fine for us since it gave us an opportunity to see the island. If you are looking for a restaurant off property. BaCoa is one of the best restaurants we have ever eaten at. Overall, we were very happy with our choice to stay here and would recommend to anyone looking for a family getaway!

Our stay at the Villa was exactly what four besties celebrating a big birthday wished for!
We opted to not rent a car and arrange transportation through Arturo to/from airport and also to the ferry in Ceiba to visit the island Culebra. HIGHLY recommend visiting Culebra, do purchase ferry tickets far in advance.
Concierge services was amazing! Danny met us at the villa upon arrival and showed us through the villa. Our groceries were exactly what we ordered. Questions throughout the weekend were answered quickly and much appreciated.
Reserving a golf cart is a MUST, we used it daily to visit the Wyndham resort and to visit the pool/beach.
We ate at the 5:00 Somewhere and Palio during our visit and both were awesome. The resort can also provide taxi service off property to visit local bar/restaurants.
The bedroom downstairs seems better fitted for children/teenagers and the shower downstairs was different. We opted to all stay upstairs together and that worked fine.
Only suggestions would be more towels, 8-10 cup coffee maker, toaster.
We loved our stay and dealing with Arturo from start to finish was amazing. Our stay was exactly what we needed and we all plan to return with our families soon!

My family and I had the opportunity to stay at Rio Mar while visiting Puerto Rico. The villa is exactly what is shown plus more. It was clean and modern. Our group of 7 felt comfortable and had plenty of room to spread out. We had access to boogie boards, beach towels, and even a cooler. Arturo, Danny, and Ricardo were great hosts. Whether they were answering questions, giving restaurant recommendations, or simply checking in, they were prompt and respectful. The added touches, like the donuts, extra ice, and the cleaning service, just brought the experience to a whole new level. The villa is close to Luquillo, Fajardo, and the rain forest. It is about 30-40 min away from San Juan. There are supermarkets and other stores minutes away. If you prefer to relax in Rio Mar, the beach, multiple pools, and other amenities are on the property. The golf cart was a plus because the property is HUGE! There are plenty of restaurants close by and a great bakery which my husband went daily to get his coffee and pastries. If I had to add to the villa it would be very minor things, for example, a few more beach towels, more larger bath towels, and several items in the kitchen ( toaster, serving plates, big bowls , and an extra pitcher. ) But overall
you could not beat how great Arturo and his team were. Simply outstanding! Forget staying in Isla Verde, I’m going back to Rio Mar next time I’m in Puerto Rico.

This place is just as advertised. It was clean and had everything we needed. 6 Adults and we had plenty of room, it worked out well for our family.
The resort was great and easy to get around with the golf cart.
Arturo & Ricardo were great and very attentive, they would call and text just to make sure if we needed anything.

Fabulous stay
We loved our stay at Mameyes II. We were a party of 8 and had plenty of room for our stay. The golf cart use was so helpful to have which gave the young adults so much autonomy. The Wyndham resort was very secure with 24 hours security. The villa is in a great location and was a short drive to the beach access.
So many great places to eat and grocery shop, locally not too far from the resort.
The owner and the property manager were great to work with before and during our stay.

Fun in Puerto Rico
Property is very nice - clean and well-maintained and resort is lovely. Easy access to beach and beach pool (which was clean and never very crowded), plus chaises provided at the beach (although you have to drag them to your location yourself). Beach is a short but steep walk from condo - consider renting a golf cart or taking a car, especially with young children. Note that 4th bedroom has no A/C in the room and does not cool well with door closed. It also does not have a privacy blind (OK during the day, but at night, with lights on, you can see straight into room from parking lot). Also note that the pool "located steps from your villa" is essentially unusable as it has to be reserved for use in 2 hour increments, and must be reserved 3 days in advance - absolutely ridiculous - we never bothered, just used the beach pool. Communication with Arturo was frustrating as it was sent in multiple texts and I had to prompt him to get any info at all (even check in info was not sent until the day we were arriving in PR, after having texted asking for this info 2 days in advance). Do the snorkeling tour to Cayo Icacos with Castillo tours - it's lovely and worth it. Skip the rainforest tour Arturo offers and book tickets to El Yunque visitor center on your own or go through a reliable tour company. Overall we loved this property and I would stay at this resort again, but would prefer a property managed by a different person if possible.

Perfect outdoor covered space we used all morning and then again in the evening after we spent the day at the beach and the pool area. There was very easy access to the rain forest as well as LaQuilla not to mention the ease from the airport and back in to see old San Juan. The golf cart was a wonderful addition to the property as it made the back-and-forth to the beach and pool very easy and fun! The property owners and management were very attentive and checked in frequently to make sure we were enjoying our stay. The beds were extremely comfortable and the property was in great shape. We would definitely come here again.
Our only critique is that the kitchen could use some more cookware as we did a great deal of cooking with minimal kitchen amenities. Also more large towels for showering.

My family and I stayed for 4 nights and we all wished we could have stayed longer! Everything was wonderful. We appreciate the speedy feedback on our questions. Our stay at Mameyes II to celebrate my father-in-laws 80th was wonderful! The kitchen is very well stocked with everything needed if you stay at home to cook, which we did for breakfast each day. Make sure you get plenty of ice if you want to make frozen drinks at home. The blender makes fantastic frozen daquiris and margaritas! The resort restaurant food is pretty pricey although the frozen drinks at "It's 5 o'clock Somewhere" are excellent and reasonable. All beds were very comfortable and there are plenty of bath and beach towels. We really enjoyed the front covered lanai as a place to escape with a good book or conduct a Zoom meeting (for those of us who still had to work while in paradise). Having a golf cart to navigate the HUGE resort is a must. We had a group ranging from 2 years old to 80 years old. The golf cart went back and forth to the beach, resort and villa several times a day. It was very convenient! It was so nice having an umbrella and several beach chairs at the villa! Even though chaise lounges are provided at the beach, I prefer sitting up when I'm reading. Finally, last but not least, Arturo, Ricardo and Danny were so attentive and considerate. They checked in every day to see if we needed anything. I really can't think of anything that was lacking...but if there was, I have no doubt that these gentleman would've taken care of it for us. I am very particular about the homes we rent and this place was perfect!

Arturo and Leyshanell do a great job! The golf cart was not in working order when we arrived and I made them aware that this was a huge disappointment. They both went to great lengths to get it working and to make sure our stay was fantastic! Thanks so much!!

Arturo and leyshanell are very hospitable property managers. The Villa was just what we were looking for and a great deal. Rio Mar is also a great location on the island. The property was well secured and we felt very safe.
