Willkommen in "Gone to Carolina", unserem neu renovierten Ferienhaus in Dewey Beach / Rehoboth by the Sea. Dieses charmante Haus wurde im Frühjahr 2017 von Grund auf renoviert. Es verfügt über 7 Schlafzimmer, eine Gourmet-Küche, einen maßgefertigten Esstisch für 10+ Personen, einen für die Privatsphäre gestalteten Vorhof, einen übergroßen Balkon mit Meerblick und einen beheizten Salzwasserpool im Hinterhof. Das atemberaubende Haus bietet alten Dewey Charme kombiniert mit dem Luxus des neuen Aufbaus. Mit mehreren Wohnräumen gibt es viel Platz für mehrere Familien im Hauptwohnbereich, abgeschirmten Veranda, Vorhof, Dachterrasse und Hinterhof Pool zu verbreiten. Es gibt ausreichend Parkplätze für 4+ Autos, der Strand ist nur wenige Schritte entfernt und der Jolly Trolley hält einen Block entfernt. Brauchen Sie ein wenig mehr Details? Bitte lesen Sie weiter! Die Ziele für diese Eigenschaft waren viele: viele Schlafzimmer und komfortable, saubere Schlafmöglichkeiten, eine Vielzahl von Treffpunkten, eine Gourmet-Küche mit allem, was Sie zu Hause hätten, und Sitzgelegenheiten am Tisch / Insel / Arbeitsplatz für buchstäblich alle. Schließlich wollten wir den Charme eines alten Dewey-Cottages beibehalten und gleichzeitig alle (ALLEN) Annehmlichkeiten auf den neuesten Stand bringen, so dass hier kein Detail ausgelassen wurde. Wir haben eine zentrale HVAC, eine Full-Size-Waschmaschine / Trockner, 2 Warmwasserboiler mit Booster (keine kalte Duschen hier), eine Außendusche, einen großen Kühlschrank und Spülmaschine, die tatsächlich das Geschirr reinigen, so dass Sie an den Strand gehen können! Wir haben das Haus mit Sitzsäcken, Boccia-Kugeln, Hufeisen, Pool-Nudeln und Brettspielen in Hülle und Fülle bestückt. Die gewachsene Landschaft wurde erhalten, und wir fügten Dutzende von Bäumen, Büschen, Palmen und Töpfen mit blühenden Pflanzen hinzu. Mit Parkplätzen für mehr als 4 Autos (je nachdem, was Sie fahren) können Sie überall parken und laufen. Wie bereits erwähnt, hält der Jolly Trolley nur einen Block entfernt. This property is amazing - close to the beach and to both downtown Rehoboth and Dewey. We loved being able to walk everywhere, but also that there was plenty of parking at the house! The house was extremely well equipped - we cooked every meal there with no issues. The pool was wonderful and all the games at the house made for such a fun stay! Lyn was so easy to communicate with both leading up to and during our trip! We will definitely be coming back.

Our family very much enjoyed our late August stay! The ability to walk to the beach, return for lunch, swim, and go back to the beach at night was fantastic. The property is comfortable and well appointed for a family stay. The kids loved the old school candy machine, Hess trucks, games and much more. Great memories made all around!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay on Carolina Street. Of all the houses we’ve rented in Rehoboth/Dewey this was our favorite. The location can’t be beat. You can easily walk into Rehoboth and Dewey from here. Also, it’s a quick walk to the beach which is less congested here than to the north and south. Bathroom space is limited. However if you love an outdoor shower as I do, it won’t be a problem. The kids especially loved jumping in the pool after returning from the beach. The house met all of our needs. Lyn immediately responded to our questions. We will be returning in the future!

Very cute house! Pool was amazing to have for our 4 kids ages 10-15. Perfect location for older ones to bike to Rehobeth boardwalk alone, and for younger ones to walk to and from the beach. Would definitely recommend!

Not only was the house spotless and well equipped but there were so many extra amenities that created such a homey warm atmosphere. Little things that weren’t necessary made the house so exciting especially for the children. It’s one thing to have an M &M machine but suppling the coins to feed it, was above and beyond. Toys, games, puzzles, antique motorized trucks, an immaculate heated pool, a fire pit to hang out at night, one block from the beach, every possible kitchen appliance including a sandwich maker/grill, a Keurig and a coffee maker. I could go on but I’ve already gone too far. Lyn was very responsive to any of our needs. Amazing property. I think I let the cat out of the bag and have ruined my chances of being able to book again.

We had a very enjoyable stay in the house! It was clean and the rooms were nicely furnished. There were more than enough bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone (for most of the stay, we had 6 adults and 3 children; on one night, we had 8 adults and 3 children), and everyone was comfortable. The pool was a delight. The children especially loved it (they sometimes used it several times a day) but the adults also took a dip and swam a little. It was very refreshing. The kitchen was clean and very well stocked with pots, pans, modern kitchen tools. It made for easy meal prep, both for family dinners and quick lunches. Proximity to the beach was super (a walk of just a few minutes - very close). We could easily go back and forth, carrying the load of beach chairs and umbrellas. One large plus - the owners were very responsive, esp when we arrived. They got right back to us with any questions we had which was very helpful. One negative - the walk to Dewey downtown is short (just a few blocks) but along the road and so better to do before nightfall. All in all, I highly recommend the house!

The location was perfect. Between the beach access and the heated pool, we had the best time! Lyn, the owner, was so easy to work with and check in was a breeze. Plenty of beds for a large group. Will be booking again in the future!

My family and our friends enjoyed our stay at this home.
The location was great for us - technically in North Dewey but very close to Rehoboth. You can easily walk to the Dewey restaurants and bars, and you can walk (on roads or beach), or take a quick drive, to Funland and the other Rehoboth attractions. We didn’t have any issues with noise.
The owners clearly care about their guests - very communicative (including thoughtful recommendations in the house binder), and have stocked the house with fun touches and conveniences (e.g. books, paper products, high chair, pack and play, etc.). The pool and backyard are a lovely oasis.

Excellent stay
This is our third year returning to this property because we enjoy it so much. The location is ideal, and the house is wonderful. It is spacious, well stocked, and clean. The pool is a bonus especially after a hot day at the beach.

Everything was advertised and there were a host of things we didn't need to think about such as toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent and dish towels. The bathroom configuration was a little strange. Upstairs 5 people shared two bathrooms and the same downstairs. It wasn't a big deal though. Close to the beach, but 1.3 miles from Rehoboth, so that was a downside. Much more upside than downside. Clearly very considerate owners.

This property exceeded expectations! It is large without feeling oversized. There is space to hang out and ample space to escape fr the group. The decor is so fun and beachy. The house has everything you need. The pool was fantastic. Highly recommend!!

Lovely Home and Location
We truly enjoyed this lovely home as a place to gather for Thanksgiving. Our relatives live in the area and our family fit nicely in this home. We had all we needed to cook, relax, play games, and rest. It is in a great location for walking, running, the beach, and many sites and restaurants.

This house had everything we wanted and was even more spacious and beautiful than it looks in the pictures. The pool was perfection and we loved the location since it was walkable to everything, but not too close to the action. Everything was comfortable and inviting, and we especially loved the screened-in porch for late night chats. Would also be a great spot for families. All communication with the owner was quick and helpful. Highly recommend.

The house easily accommodated our group of six adults and six kids under 12. The house is in a beach block, so it was easy to get to the beach, and it had a nice pool. The house was well stocked with essentials, although you had to make other arrangements for linens and towels. The property manager Lynn was exceptionally good at handling minor requests.

I almost hate to write this review because I don’t want to create competition to rent this property in the future. Lyn is a marvelous host. This is a beautiful property. Finally, in my opinion, this is the best location in the Dewey/Rehoboth area. There is not much else to say.

The beach access at the end of the street seems to service a smaller set of homes as it always seemed to offer more space than other stretches of Dewey Beach. The salt water pool is a true differentiator that makes for a resort-type experience. Pics are accurate. This house is a keeper! I'd return every year if I could.

Perfect beach house
This is the second year we stayed at this property because we were so happy with it last year. It is spacious and stocked with everything you can imagine. It is beautifully decorated, and you can tell the owner takes great care of it. The pool is wonderful, and the beach is just a short walk away. Once again, we had a great time!

As a family of 10, we were surprised by the sheer number of private but quaint places to hang out in this gem in Dewey. The fire pit alcove, a screened in porch, a roof terrace among the treetops, and the pool area in the back. Every place felt relaxing and homey. We cooked everyday as a family in the well stocked kitchen and used the massive dining table, had lunch by the pool, drinks on the terrace or around the fire pit. We spent mornings running on the beach or playing in the sand and afternoons by the pool. The owner has decorated everything with a mixture of whimsy and good taste. We spent two solid days on the beach and in the heated pool and two solid days indoors because of a windy and rainy storm. Even in the storm, we visited the beach just a 2 min walk away to witness nature at work with the highest waves and tide we’ve ever seen. Then when the rain lightened, we went to Gordon State Pond trail and candy kitchen and came back to all the amazing board games- my scrabble game improved for sure! The only small complaint i heard from two family members is that this house was by a busy street and they heard folks talking and walking by loudly even late at night. So by the second night, I recommended the white noise app on all our phones for all the bedrooms and we slept fine! While we can’t control the weather, we had a great Memorial Day and birthday weekend vacation in this lovely home. Special thanks to the owners for sending extra firewood and making sure the heated pool was working and reset for our visit. All of this without us asking. Have fun at this oasis!

Zero complaints. Just as advertised. Clean property, plenty of sleeping options, great pool, and walking distance to the heart of Dewey. Coordinating with the property owner was extremely easy and we would come back in a heartbeat.
