Absolutely amazing the views were amazing cabin very clean

At least the third time we’ve stayed here. Always clean an we have a wonderful time!

My wife, son and I had another great stay at this property. Robin is always a pleasure to work with. House was clean and the view off the back deck is awesome. We will be back again.

Our stay was brief but we enjoyed it very much. The house was very clean and comfortable with a lovely deck to relax on after long walks. We arrived after dark and the road by the gate is a little tricky to find at night but the neighbors out walking were very helpful and kind.

Perfect location just minutes from king st. and App state campus. Wonderful and relaxing views from the deck. Would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic location. Well equipped. We liked the books of local hikes. The gate code was wrong within the text of the email. Noisy fan in the main bedroom. We would rent here again.

Let's start with the good stuff. The cabin is clean, inside and out; everything works. The hardwood floors are attractive—the cabin and furnishings are serviceable. The best feature is the view from the deck and the only reason to trek two-plus miles up winding s curves. We could not use the larger primary bedroom with a view of the mountains. The mattress was very high. As older adults having to launch ourselves into bed and catapult out was not appealing. The smaller secondary bedroom was in dire need of storage. It had no drawers, and the closet floor was unusable, with nowhere to put a suitcase or a bag of shoes. We used the primary bedroom to store our things and slept in the secondary bedroom. The chest in the primary had three drawers available, and the rest were cluttered. If we had more than two people staying, it would have been a real problem. The hall closet was cluttered, and the kitchen cupboards left little room for foodstuffs. At nearly $1200 a week, there should be a place to put a suitcase, foodstuffs, and clothing for four people. This could be easily remedied—decluttering, fewer teddy bears and deer statues, and more storage for guests' things.

Enjoyed the stay in this cabin with AMAZING view! The home was cozy, well-equipped, with had a very comfortable bed. It was relaxing minus the one night we could not the gate to the community was not working when we arrived late after the Kruger Brothers concert. The owners were as helpful as they could be, but we ended up having to leave our car outside the community and walk up the the house in the dark. The rest of the weekend was great and made up for the hassle of that first night. Would stay here again!

This cabin is just what we needed. We loved getting away from the heat for a few days, and will likely book again next summer.

Great weather, great weekend getaway.

The property is super clean and cozy, and it has great heating if you're staying in the winter time. The hosts were extremely kind and helpful. I highly recommend staying here! Not to mention the views were absolutely breathtaking. You can lay in bed all day and just watch the mountains. INCREDIBLE!

The Views are #1 for our memories. The home is well equipped for great meals & comfortable resting. The air-conditioning worked great. The kitchen is much bigger than the photos showed. We used the grill on the deck for a wonderful steak dinner. I enjoyed birds singing & chipmonks scampering around. But again, the view!! It was so lovely to have coffee on the deck on a cool June morning. I hope I am able to visit again. Secluded & makes you feel like there are no other humans around.

This was a really nice getaway for my son and me. Beautiful view off the deck. Plenty of apps on the TV. Be warned that if you book, you'll get some type of pre-typed check-in procedure to get through the gate, with the incorrect code. Check your inbox, as the owner will email you the correct code. Owner was very responsive when we encountered this issue.

We had an amazing weekend here!! The weather was bad with cold rain and ice but perfect sitting by the fire watching movies. Oh and the view is gorgeous! We will be back!

Wonderful cabin for a weekend trip in the mountains. Pictures online does not do the property justice, and in a nice secluded area with fantastic views.

My husband and I stayed here for a long weekend to celebrate my birthday and we absolutely loved everything about the mountain house, the view, the location, and the communication with the owners. They provided great information prior to our arrival and were quickly available to answer any questions we had once we arrived. I would highly recommend this house. We had a great stay - thank you for everything!

We had a very nice time staying here on a skiing/tubing trip. The views from the back deck were spectacular! Easy communication with owner who is very kind.

My wife and I stayed here to celebrate her 60th birthday. The house was very charming and clean. The location was close to Boone. My only concern was the day we left it was icy and the steps are sloped slightly down and where very dangerous to walk down. The road going down was also dangerously slick. But other wise a great place to stay with breath taking views.

We had an amazing time staying at this property. It’s minutes from everything but feels like you are on your own mountain. The view from the back porch (which can be seen from the kitchen dinning living room and one bedroom) was breathtaking. We would watch the sun come up everyday and the sunset every night. It was more beautiful everyday. The property had everything we could have ever wanted. Plenty of clean towels and blankets. Property was super clean and very warm and inviting. The owner was super helpful and recommended several amazing restaurants and other places to see in the area. I can’t wait to come back and stay again. This is property has the best view that I have ever stayed at in the mountains

We have stayed at two of their properties and both were wonderful. The homeowners are super communicative and quick to respond for any questions. I would agree with them being super hosts.

The views are amazing, from coming up and down the mountain to the back deck on the house! The host is extremely nice and informative! The house is clean and cozy! We LOVE it here!

When we decided we wanted a long weekend away, the first place we looked at was Boone, NC on VRBO. This house was the 4th one listed. I saw the number of great reviews and looked no further. It was great! Great Mountain View. Super clean. Easiest check in we’ve ever experienced at a rental. The house was nicely decorated and had all the comforts of home. It did rain 2” the first 48 hours we were there so we didn’t get to enjoy the deck as much as we would’ve liked but we did try two restaurants recommended by the host and were not disappointed.
