Rented this property with my 2 sisters, ages ranging from 73 to 80 years old. Very senior-friendly! No steps inside or out, and no carpeting. Floors are lovely and clean, slate and wood. Walk-in shower was new and large. Beds were very comfy and warm. We knew this was going to be a lovely stay the minute we pulled up to the front door. There was a cement pad on which to park the car, and a welcoming wrought iron gate and short cement walkway up to the house. The minute we stepped in it felt like home. Living room was set up for good conversation, kitchen was modern and well stocked. The bedrooms were a nice size, and the decor throughout was deliciously charming. Debbie was very responsive and she gave us a sense of security that if we needed anything at all, she would be available. We will definitely stay here again. 5 Stars says “don’t hesitate”!

Fantastic time in Grass Valley for a weekend. Wonderful food & shopping. An easy drive to Nevada City as well. Great location of house. Close to everything. Highly recommend staying here.

Exactly as advertised! Very clean and decorated tastefully!

My daughter and I stayed three nights during Easter week. Upon opening the door we were greeted by a lovely handwritten note, a vase filled with colorful Easter eggs, some lovely chocolates, and an old-fashioned bunny that perfectly matched the antique furnishings in this truly beautiful home. You’ll want for nothing in Debbie’s place. The living room is warm and inviting, both bedrooms are absolutely charming, with gorgeous antique beds that are extremely comfortable. The well-equipped kitchen has excellent cooking supplies (including chef’s knives that are actually sharp!). The walk up Mill Street to old town Grass Valley was short and pleasant. As the evenings cooled down we would relax on the quaint outside patio and soak up the rest of the day’s rays. Debbie deserves the premiere host status she’s received. She really made us feel like family and took great care to ensure that we had everything we needed. We can’t wait to come back!

This 2 bed/2bath modern duplex is AMAZING. Being off the street makes it very quiet. The furnishings were tasteful. The kitchen well equipped with necessary tools. The beds are comfortable. There is plenty of room to spread out and relax. The outdoor space has nice seating.

Debbie’s home is amazing. Her outstanding hospitality outshines any other place we have ever stayed. We are definatelly repeat customers (she makes us feel more like family)!!!
