Dieses Haus wurde 1888 erbaut, wurde aber im Jahr 2016 komplett renoviert, um alle Annehmlichkeiten zu aktualisieren und die wunderschönen historischen Details wiederzubeleben. Dieses Haus befindet sich auf 75 Hektar Wald und Bauernhof Boden in der Nähe von Lake Shafer in Buffalo, IN. Es ist etwa 10 Meilen nördlich von Indiana Beach. Es ist abgelegen genug für eine dringend benötigte weg, aber nahe genug, um alle Aktivitäten zu genießen, die die Gegend hat. Dieses Haus ist ideal für Familien und für ein Paar weg. Der Parkplatz ist groß genug für mehrere Fahrzeuge sowie einen Bootsanhänger. Es gibt mehrere Bootsanführungen in der Nähe für Bootfahren auf Lake Shafer oder Lake Freeman. Das zweite Schlafzimmer im Obergeschoss hat ein Kingsize-Bett und das dritte Schlafzimmer im Obergeschoss hat zwei Twin-Size-Betten. Es gibt auch eine separate Waschküche und Bürobereich im ersten Stock. Die Küche und das Bad sind komplett mit Gegenständen ausgestattet, um Ihren Aufenthalt zu beginnen. Wir würden empfehlen, zusätzliche Gegenstände für längere Aufenthalte zu bringen. Alle Bettwäsche sind vorhanden. Dieses Haus hat auch eine geschlossene Veranda ideal zum Entspannen.
Draußen finden Sie einen Gasgrill und eine Feuerstelle, die für die Erinnerung herum ist. Das Anwesen hat auch einen Bach, der durch sie läuft und ein Mann gemacht Teich schaffen einen wunderbaren Lebensraum für viele Hirsche und wilde Truthahn (keine Jagd ist auf dieser Eigenschaft erlaubt). Das Hotel eignet sich hervorragend für Spaziergänge, Reiten und Radfahren.

We had a wonderful, relaxing time at this charming, renovated farmhouse. The setting is very peaceful, great for long walks, and filled with a large variety of birds and wildlife to enjoy. All of the rooms are quite spacious and beautifully decorated, and the kitchen is filled with all the essentials for cooking meals. We hope to return next year!

Great little house to stay at! Owner’s instructions were super easy to accommodate. I would just suggest a deep clean of the grill and stove, when we used them, they were pretty dirty making the grill hard to use and the house smoky when we used the oven

Beautifully remodeled farmhouse with enough beds for 8 people to sleep comfortably. Large living room with bonus enclosed front porch. All the furnishings and kitchen appliances and utensils we needed. A great place for our whole family to be together. Only downside is that there’s only one bathroom. But we made it work.

The house itself was exactly as advertised in the pictures. Cute, old house that's been updated. No complaints there.
We were surprised when we arrived that it was not secluded at all. This is my fault for not studying the maps closely enough. I was going by the listing saying it is secluded, on 75 acres and great for walks, etc. and all of the photos having a lovely country landscape out the windows. In reality it is right across the road from some kind of campground with a house, a few random cabins, garages and half a dozen campers. People were all over the place riding golf carts constantly, including in the field north of the house. Looking out the widow to see people and golf carts, or hearing them yelling while outside trying to relax was a massive disappointment. The whole reason for this trip was to escape our neighbors in the city and be truly alone and at peace. We almost turned around and went home, but had already paid, so were stuck. Again, the host and house were fine, and no one came onto the property and bothered us. I just wanted to point this out because I wish I had realized it ahead of time - hoping it helps someone. My fault for not reviewing the maps more closely - the info was available and I missed it.

We had a wonderful trip and loved the space and property.
Our only suggestion is to provide enough paper products for the amount of people and duration of stay. We were not wasteful but ran out quickly.

This is a lovely place to stay for a peaceful getaway! There is plenty of room for the whole family. Michelle is helpful and gives detailed instructions for an easy check in and stay.

Welcoming and comfortable home with great amenities in rural Indiana. We had the benefit of changing fall colors and enjoyed walks in the countryside. Wonderful for a relaxing getaway!

The home was very clean, spacious and the amenities was superb! Large bedrooms and the enclosed porch was beautiful.
There was linen, dishes, towels, and a pantry full of incidentals.

Amazing home with all the amenities. Plenty of property to walk around, excellent fire pit for bonding and chatting or relaxing and taking in the sounds of nature with subtle sounds of babbling waters that border the property. Inside the home is spacious with great beds!! A++ I would recommend for anybody looking for a peaceful getaway! Seamless experience with property owners. Made the stay even more care free, we will return! Thank you.

The house was beautiful. Very clean and accommodating hostess. Perfect for my family of 8 . The linens were clean and fresh, she even provided bath towels and wash cloths. The rooms up stairs did get a little warm the first night. The temps were in the high 90s during our visit. But I did find two stand up fans in cleaning closet while looking for a broom. Which we used in the rooms the second night and was perfect then. My family and I will definitely be back again next year for the same visit. Thanks Michelle.

very nice and comfortable. Only problem was the stairs; Not great for older guests. The step to the upstairs bedrooms was particularly steep and unexpected. Resulted in a fall (no injury).

Beautiful
The home was beautiful and easy to check in. The stairs to the upstairs bedrooms are a little steep so my uncle slept downstairs on the couch. The enclosed patio is just perfect for coffee/wine sitting for a nice visit. We loved our stay and you will too.

We loved everything about our stay!! There were plenty of towels, plenty of space, and everything was so thoughtfully decorated. It was really lovely. The little lake house community nearby seems really charming and fun, but this house is set back from all the other houses there, so you don't feel like you're in the middle of a crowd or anything. The big porch and yard around the house was also so nice. We spent our days at Indiana Beach, and this was a perfect spot to return to after being at the park all day.
A note I would make that might be helpful for guests with mobility issues-the stairs to the second floor have a slippery finish, and there is not a railing on the stairs. So we were a bit nervous about letting the kids be on the stairs. Make sure to take their socks off. My mom stayed downstairs because she has trouble with stairs. Maybe a swirling and something with some traction on the stairs would be nice.

The house was so beautifully decorated inside. Everything was spot on for an old farm house. It was very clean and welcoming. Everything needed to stay for a few days. We loved the charm with doors and floors and furnishings.

I really enjoyed staying here, there is plenty of room! Loved the fire pit. It was a little hot upstairs. It's so beautiful there and relaxing. Will definitely be staying there again. Michelle was a great host always prompt on answering any questions. And left us some firewood too.

Excellent Rental
We were very impressed with the cleanliness of the house and property on this secluded lot. We were just a short drive from Indiana beach and this house worked out perfectly for our family of 7. We cooked 3 meals and the kitchen had all the utensils, appliances and dishes we needed. Would definitely stay here again.

This was our 2nd year renting this place & we had a wonderful experience again! It’s the perfect location & we love how quiet and secluded it is! Close enough to indiana beach for our trip! We’re hoping it’s available next year for our stay!
