We love the house. Our family of five, plus three friends who visited for one afternoon were very comfortable here. The house is located right next to the highway, so there is a bit of noise from the traffic zipping by. All-in-all it was a great stay and we'd stay here again. It was fun to see two deer grazing for a long time in the field behind the house.

Great stay! House, location and Yachats are lovely!

It was a nice location, farther from the beach than the the website made it out to be. There was a stain on the carpet on landing of stairs and the dryer door did not close, which in turn made it unusable. Probably will not use this location again. The property manager never did call or come over and go over anything that was stated that they would do..

House was close to beach and amenities. Loved looking out the windows at the ocean. The house itself has a bit of an odd layout, but it worked for us. Some of the items in the house need some updating, but nothing to ruin a beach stay. There is no cable tv on the main floor or in the master bedroom, good thing we were happy watching the waves. I reported all the minor issues to management, so I am sure they will address them. Have stayed in other Sweet Homes and they have been great.

Pacific perch was located in close proximity to beach- just walking distance! With 3 levels there is a quiet space for everyone to enjoy. The only reason I leave 4 stars was the leftover pet hairs. We enjoyed our visit and we even watched wales from the living room view!!

As two senior couples, we rented this house for a quiet vacation on the beautiful Oregon coast. We found it to be pretty much as advertised by VRBO, and to be clean, well appointed, fully furnished and comfortable. It has a very nice 2nd floor kitchen/dining/family room area, and all appliances worked well. The 3 bedrooms areas have twin beds on the ground floor, a queen in the 2nd floor master, and a queen on the third floor. We didn't use the twins, but the queens were very comfortable. It is located only a short distance from the Pacific beach, which is fully visible from the main living area and small outside deck. The surf can be easily heard from the house, and makes for the best sleep ever. The beach frontage is accessible by a local residential traffic frontage road, which also leads to a footpath for an easy walk to downtown Yachats. As with any house, there were features to be aware of. As mentioned, the house has 3 floors, accessed by stairways. So weak knees and/or heavy luggage could be a factor. The house will easily accommodate 6 people, but the living area has comfortable couch seating for only 3 adults. Any others have high dining table chairs for use. The kitchen/family room area is heated/cooled by a very effective wall-mounted system. However it is operated by a digital remote system not easily figured out. We recommend you pay full attention to the instructions given by your greeter, and start it while he is still there. There are 2 large-screen TVs, one in the 2nd floor master bedroom, and the other in the 3rd floor entertainment area. However only the 3rd floor TV has satellite access. The master bedroom is equipped only for DVD, and the selection provided is old. So bring your own if you want to watch movies in bed. There is no shower in the 3rd floor bathroom. The couple rooming on the 3rd floor had to use the 1st floor shower. It worked out fine, but was a little inconvenient. Yachats is small and relatively quiet, i.e. just what we wanted! It has a well-provided grocery store and nice restaurants. We recommend Luna for reasonably priced but excellent seafood. Best tidepools we found anywhere were just north of the Overleaf Lodge at low tide. And don't miss the coastal overlook at Cape Perpetua! Go online to “20 Reasons to Love Yachats”, and enjoy the stay. It's well worth the distance.

This house was nice, but way over priced. It had a nice view of the ocean and it was just a short walk. The town is cute and was fun to walk to. However, I received a bill that only included the total with no breakdown on price. i called and spoke with i believe the owner. They don’t tell you that after the VRBO fee, non refundable cleaning fee,pet fee and Taxes that you will be paying more than an additional nights stay. I checked in Sat at 4:00 and checked out monday morning at 11:00 and paid a crazy amount of money. Next time I will look more carefully! i have revised this review several times in order to meet the requirements that VRBO is asking.
