This was our 19th “girls trip,“ to Hilton Head, a trip we look forward to from the moment we leave till the time we arrive the next year..Seashore vacations, as always, wonderful to work with, and very responsive to our needs. The condo itself, could use some updating, but was comfortable and fairly well stocked. They were some minor cleaning issues, which Seashore addressed within an hour of being notified of them.Because the building is undergoing some renovations, it was quite noisy, but the grounds and the pool were pristine, and, as always, the ocean and the sunrises are just the greatest from this vantage point. We look forward to our 20th trip in just 51 more weeks.

Great location, check in quick and easy, spacious for our family and friends. My only complaint was the cleanliness of the condo, definately bare minimum was done. Under the dressers and beds did not look like they have been vacuumed in a very long time. I cleaned up sticky, brown soda all over the table and legs. I wish it would have been cleaned alot better. The blinds in the bedrooms were missing and broken which made the sunlight annoying in the mornings. New blinds in boxes were under the beds.

The condo was perfect, it had everything needed. The location of Ocean One is perfect. Kids can walk to Coligny Plaza for shopping and beach is easily accessible. We had a gem test time!

It was fine. The weather was good after a couple of days, which no one has any control of bad weather.The elevator did not work when we came and it was not a good experience carrying out luggage and all up 4 flights of stairs.

Property is in perfect location for walk to restaurants and beach. Many golf courses close by and easy to get too! Perfect space for our golf trip.

This was a family beach vacation planned and paid for by me. I did have a few complaints. The elevator on our side was out of commission. My 14 month old granddaughter was there so packing and carrying was a big inconvenience with elevator broken. The unit wasn’t very clean, moldy shower curtains, exhaust fans in bathrooms didn’t work. Also killed roaches. All in all the family had a great time together, but in the future I will rent somewhere else. On the plus side, pool was super nice and location was great.

We’ll appointed property that is consistent with the listing. The location is perfect if you like walking places. We had 2 small kids so the quick walk down to the pool and beach was amazing. Also a beautiful park across the street and tons to do at Coligny Plaza. We cooked most meals in the condo, while a little disorganized the kitchen has most of what we needed. Our only “issue” was that the blinds in all of the rooms are pretty dated/missing some slats so they did nothing to keep out the light. I’d suggest bringing some temporary blackout shades if you have little kids or are sensitive to light when sleeping. Property management was responsive and easy to work with, which is always a plus! Overall we would stay here again!

Location, loction, location
Great location very close to Coliginy Circle and all the shops including Piggly Wiggly!! Great to be able to not have to get in the car and hall then hall beach stuff to the ocean. Would like to have the pool open up earlier than 10:00 AM.

Very good but the unit and complex are definitely in need of updating.
The unit is good, clean and has everything you need but the unit and condo complex are really in need of an update. Baseboards, flooring, beds, elevators, are all in need of updates. We also did not have any dish soap (other than dishwasher tabs) and only 3 large trash bags. Having stayed in this complex for 15 plus years it just seems nothing is being adequately updated and the service/cleaning level seems to be declining.
Also the pool closing time has changed from 10p to “sunset” - my kids used to love a nighttime swim and I’m not sure why this has changed.

Even though we were closed to Coligny Beach, it was very peaceful. One drawback is there is a window in the twin BR that has a light blaring in from the inside corridor. My boys covered it the window after the first night. It was clean , but I thought there could be some hard cleaning with the master BR commode and the tub. Most likely stain, but maybe some Comet would help - I'm probably a little more particular than most. Enjoyed being able to walk to the beach. Suggestion: bring a cart if you have several chairs that you will be taking.

I stayed in Ocean One in the late 80’s. These condominiums have been around for a long time. They are built well and practically soundproof, which is a plus. The location is perfect as you are a right at the beach and also walking distance to a number of good restaurants/bars and shopping. Biggest issue for us was parking. If you read the description, there is nothing that says you are limited to two spots for this rental. That is an issue when you travel with other couples or with your adult children as we did. We didn’t find out until the week before we were leaving that we wouldn’t be allowed to have three cars and plans were already made. We ended up having to take one car to the Hilton head airport and parking there. It was $60. The rental company throws that back on ocean one even though they are the ones that do not put this information in the description. They should and when I mentioned that, they didn’t say a word. I noticed the description still hasn’t been updated. That aside, this condo needs new mattresses. All are soft and old. You can see indentations in the king mattress. They could also use a proper wine opener. On the positive, We cooked a lot for meals and the kitchen was pretty well-equipped. The unit was clean and the common area was nicely furnished. I believe there are TVs in each of the bedrooms and one in the common area. We didn’t watch any television. For this unit, you are paying for the location! Also note that this unit does not have a beach view. I made the mistake when we booked of thinking that it did. It is on the parking lot side. Overall, we liked the location and price.

January Hilton Head visit
The condo has an amazing amount of space and the layout is perfect for a large family or including your extended family. It's location is also fantastic. The property management company was on top of things as well. The only negative to our stay were the 3 roaches we found in the condo. I know they are a fact of life on an island, but spraying for them might help take care of them for future guests.
