This was in a great location and was a wonderful home. The house was neat and clean and provided all the amenities required for a pleasurable stay. My son Mitch surprised his girlfriend Colleen by proposing to her on the beach below Aquinnah Cliffs. She was so happy to have the whole family at the house after to celebrate with. We all loved it and the dogs were so happy to have room to roam the yard. Thanks great place highly recommend it.

The house was as-advertised and comfortably accommodated my adult relatives in its four bedrooms. Everything worked. The house was clean with no surprises.
Samantha was friendly and helpful when we talked with her. The VRBO app needs improvement, but the house was fine.

The most wonderful, cozy home. The house is so quiet, perfect for a few days of relaxation on the island. The back deck was my favorite part, and the bed in the master bedroom was insanely comfortable. Can’t wait to return to this gem!

The house has everything you need, including cozy bedrooms, outdoor shower, grill, flat back yard for lawn games and an amazing location close to Lucy Vincent Beach.

We had a wonderful week in this Chilmark gem! Such a peaceful location! Plenty or room for a family of 4+ to be comfortable. Property is just as advertised and shown in the pictures. Great communication from the host. We will definitely return!

Chilmark Wedding
We were in Chilmark for a family wedding and this was the perfect spot for 6 adults to sleep comfortably in a relaxing environment and clean home. There was an additional room to spare and it had all the amenities we needed for a long weekend stay

Sweet, relaxing house on a quiet road
Samantha's house is a clean, comfortable cute house on quiet road in the woods. Adirondack chairs were lovely to relax in for morning coffee. The house was perfect for our annual family trip to Chilmark. Great location ... perfect launching pad to explore upisland. West Tisbury: Alley's, Field Gallery, Saturday and Wednesday Farmers Markets; Middle Road (magical, winding country road with stone walls and beautiful vistas running between W. Tisbury and Chilmark. Quintessential upland. Amazing to bike if you like hills!) Manuel Correllus state park with its mostly flat bike path (great for kids!), Lucy Vincent beach, Menemsha, Lobsterville and Aquinnah are all easily accessible. Upisland Cronigs, the local grocery store has almost everything you could need and is just a few minutes away by car.
Everything was as described in the listing, and Samantha was wonderfully communicative. Thanks, Samantha for allowing us the opportunity to visit your home!

Our multi generational family had a great stay. The house is down a dirt road in the middle of the woods so it was very peaceful and relaxing, just be prepared to drive a bit to food, groceries, etc. The host was very helpful and responsive to questions. We definitely recommend this property!

Loved this property. It was clean and comfortable. The 4 bedrooms easily accommodated our party of 8. We spent a lot of time on the large back deck, grilling and playing in the yard. Samantha, the host, was very attentive to our needs.

Quiet and relaxing
My husband and I stole away to Martha's Vineyard for our first vacation of the year. We stayed at Samantha's lovely hide-away Up-Island. The house was clean and uncluttered with a great big yard snuggled into the woods. Very peaceful with easy access to stunning beaches and local farm stands for fresh meat, eggs and veggies. Beyond memorable trip to Martha's Vineyard
This property in Marha's Vineyard delivered everything that it promised, and more. The house was totally private, with no neighbors anywhere nearby.
The house itself was immaculately clean, well laid out and had everything you could need.
The property was located in Chilmark, which means it's within a quick drive of the amazing beaches at Lucy Vincent, Squibnocket and Menemsha.
The home owner was super communicative, and responded within minutes to any questions that I had.
Our week in this home flew by , and we can't wait to go back again in the future.

We had a great two weeks here. Samantha, the property manager could not have been more helpful or responsive. The house was well-maintained and a great location for visiting local beaches. Thank you for a great stay!

Secluded and Comfortable
Our family (2 Adults, 4 kids) spent a month here and we loved it. The house is down a sandy secluded road. We biked daily down to a wonderful biking/walking trail that has great views of the pond, cows, deer, rabbits. It was the best way to start each day. The beaches were close (Lucy Vincent and Squibnocket). Samantha was great, followed up often and was very responsive. We felt very comfortable and at home here. We plan on staying here again when we come back to the Vineyard.

Wonderful Home, Wonderful Host
We were terribly unlucky to have had "sub-tropical storm Melissa" arrive at the same time we were to arrive on Martha's Vineyard. Having dealt with the rare event of the boats not running for two days, all the frustration just floated away once we finally got to this sweet, peaceful home tucked away down a quiet dirt road.
We were all very comfortable in this tastefully decorated, quaint yet spacious little gem with every amenity you could need.
All this said, the best part of it all for us was the consistent kindness and excellent communication from our host, Samantha. Her concern for the difficulty we were experiencing was phenomenal.
We'll remember this short stay (amidst so many things going wrong) as the very best VRBO experience we've ever had, and definitely try to return soon.

Fabulous Vineyard Get-Away!
This is a wonderful property on the more remote yet most beautiful side of Martha's Vineyard. The property is well kept both inside and out. The yard is spacious with lots of sunlight, nicely groomed and surround by woods for privacy.
The house is clean and bright with a nice open floor plan. Plenty of space in the rooms and central areas. There are local country stores nearby and the drive to beaches are withing 15 minutes. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a nice, quiet place to rent.

Lovely Up Island Vineyard House
This is a comfortable house up island on Martha’s Vineyard. Located in the woods close to West Tisbury. We had a very nice week’s stay and took full advantage of the island’s best beaches and quieter spaces. The house came with everything we needed for our holiday.. Excellent value for this part of the Vineyard.

Wonderful Upisland location!
We truly enjoyed our stay at this property. The owners were very responsive and the home was clean and comfortable. We loved Chilmark and enjoyed all of the town beaches. The owners were very helpful with the process of acquiring beach stickers. We brought our dog with us and she loved the large yard. The home is just down the road from Alley's General Store and 7A bakery. We were able to eat dinner outside with our dog at both the Lobsterville Bar and Grill (they even have a dog menu!) and the Offshore Ale Company. We loved hiking the Menemsha Hills trails and taking the bike ferry from Menemsha to Aquinnah to bike to the lighthouse. Previously, we have stayed in Vineyard Haven and Edgartown. This property gave us easy access to so many wonderful places on the island we had not explored during previous trips.
