Exactly what we wanted when seeking to disconnect for a week. So much open space around the property to relax and admire. Loved the house itself too!

We had a great time staying at the Baby Barn. It was perfect for our group - 5 adults and 3 young kids. The decor really sets the appropriate VT vibe, and the views are absolutely stunning. It was easy to find and felt very private. I loved being able to open the doors in the bedrooms and smell the morning mountain air while getting ready for my day.

We have stayed here with friends on a number of trips now and it’s always great! Perfect for a small group of friends and family!

The home, with its picturesque views, peaceful surroundings, and warm rustic charm does not disappoint! We walked into the home and were immediately excited for our stay. The floor to ceiling stone fireplace, surrounded by the wall of windows, created a perfect backdrop to our Christmas celebration. We unfortunately had our time cut short, due to a storm that affected most of the country, and left many in the area without power. The host, Peter, his caretakers, and neighbors, could not have been more helpful, communicative, and down right neighborly. While we weren’t able to enjoy this beautiful home the entire trip, we have some great memories and a really fun story. Don’t hesitate to book this home to make your own Vermont memories!

We loved our stay at the Baby Barn and highly recommended it. My wife and I like to find unique rentals around New England, and this one is amazing. The great room with floor to ceiling windows is the show stopper. We loved making breakfast and dinner in the kitchen. The master suite downstairs was comfortable with beautiful views. Overall the property is so special and peaceful. We look forward to coming back!

This is by far one of the best rentals I have ever stayed-in. There were three Architects among us who loved the property and the kids had a great time too. Will definitely be coming back and daydreaming about someday owning a similar home!

This was my second visit to the Baby Barn and it did not disappoint!! Gorgeous foliage views from the grounds and inside the barn, best fireplace ever, spotless and well stocked. We will be back again!

Peter's house is very cute and rustic. A great weekend getaway in Vermont and wonderful for fall foliage with the rolling hills in front of the house. Plenty of space for our group of 7 and 4 dogs. Highly recommend.

Our family of four had a very nice stay, my children (3 & 7) loved the outdoors and views of the mountains. The layout of the house is great, the kids went to sleep and my husband and I could stay up and enjoy some quiet time without disrupting them. The location is great, we did some exploring and spent a day in Manchester. Such a beautiful area! The kids are already asking to go back.

Friends decided a last minute trip to Vt and it did not disappoint. The house was on point. Clean, spacious, picturesque - a perfect house for a perfect summer trip. Some things in the kitchen needs a little update especially the fridge but otherwise gets the job done. It is a retreat house so if you are expecting a high-speed internet then this is not for you. Close to skiing, hiking and the town is a must visit. Definitely staying here in the winters.

Beautiful architecture

Absolutely delightful barn in the Vermont woods. The property was charming and kept at a very high standard. All the amenities were high quality and the caretaker was extremely responsive when we had a question. Looking forward to our next stay here already.

My friends and I had an amazing stay at the Baby Barn. It was so stunning architecturally, clean, had incredible views, and a very comfortable layout with 3 full bathrooms. We loved the location close to so many hikes and small farms and towns. We hope to visit again!

Very cozy and comfortable barn in a great location..quick trips into both Londonderry and south Londonderry..was very hot and humid which is out of anyone's control but would be nice to have at least one bedroom with a window unit air conditioning and a dehumidifier in the lower level would take the moisture out as it was 80 degrees inside the barn for majority of time..just a suggestion..great place to hang out and enjoy the scenery

At the end of a dirt road with only one other property sits the Baby Barn. Spectacular views with an Architectural Digest worthy inside. Space is cozy. Not small but could be a bit crowded for large groups. If you have a dog it’s perfect. You can let the door open and have no worries. About 25 minutes from Manchester. The fire places are spectacular and make for a Great ambiance. Views of Magic Mountain are hypnotic. Nice spot to decompress.

Great place to be during a rainy weekend! The fireplaces and views were amazing and the home was very comfortable. The only downside was communication with the owner - we didn’t receive any info regarding check in, and messages through VRBO and phone calls were left unanswered. We went to the home to see if there were instructions there, which there were, but a heads up that all access/instructions would be in the house would have been nice (it was a bit unnerving heading on vacation with the hope that we would be able to access the rental). Also, in the instructions was the phone number of the caretaker, which was not listed anywhere in the VRBO listing. Updating that number will help future renters!

What a magnificent property! I should have taken the description more seriously when it said "architect designed." I highly recommend any who stays here should read through the coffee table book on the architect's design history, of which "Baby Barn" is one. I felt very lucky to have been able to stay here. The windows were fabulous and offered gorgeous views of the mountain. It felt completely private, but not isolated in a scary way. We used both fireplaces throughout our stay and had plenty of wood (provided). The MBR and MBA were romantic and beautiful. It was the perfect place for reading and retreating amongst beauty inside and out. Even though we had a decent amount of rain, the space felt spacious and cozy and we had no desire to leave it. We used the kitchen for our dinners and had absolutely everything we needed. This was one of those equipped kitchens that only require you bring the meat. Oils, spices, cast iron pans, and even some condiments were all there. It was a joy to use. Our contact with the property manager was seamless and gracious. They were generous with check-in and check-out times and were available instantly for any questions. We will definitely be back!!

We've stay at many people's homes all over the world and nearly all have been wonderful experiences. The Baby Barn has risen to the top of the list. Everything was as promised and more. An enchanting getaway in the middle of a peaceful mountainside. If you are looking to disconnect and unwind and take a step back in time where playing cards, doing a puzzle, reading a book or watching the sun some up in the morning - this is where you'll find it. The kitchen has everything you need. Light the candles at night, sit by the fire, turn off the cell phones and you could be back 200 year ago. This place is special.

Thoroughly enjoyed a relaxing weekend at the baby barn with my family and dogs. The pictures don't do it justice, the barn is absolutely gorgeous.

We were five adults staying two nights over the Easter weekend. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at cozy Baby Barn. As did our labradors who enjoyed swimming in the little pond! The grounds are well maintained and private and the property is super comfortable with a roaring fireplace and a fully equipped kitchen. Hiking in nearby Manchester was fun and stop over at Grafton Cheese on the way home. It was a delightful and memorable stay and I look forward to returning again! Thank you!

Wonderful architect designed cabin/barn. Perfect for a weekend getaway. Awesome views in the big yard! Perfect for sledding!! Will definitely stay here again.

It's always so nice to stay somewhere as thoughtfully crafted as the Baby Barn. I've stayed twice with my wife, once in summer and once in winter, and it's a knock out spot.
