This cozy getaway is situated on a large lot with views of Magic Mountain.
Things to do:
The town of Weston is a close drive from Londonderry. There you will find The Vermont Country Store which offers a vast array of gift items and so much more. The town of Manchester is about 25 minutes away where you will find more restaurants and shopping outlets. For families there are also summer activities at some of the ski resorts in the area. For dining out there are a couple places in Londonderry: Jake's Restaurant and Tavern and The New American Grill which are a few minutes away near Rte 100 and Rte 11 intersection. There is also Johnny Seesaw's which is about 10 minutes away going west on Rte 11.

A gentle walking trail winds it way from the backyard through plush woodlands where you can enjoy an outdoor stroll. Your trail meanders past freshwater wetlands and wild blueberry bushes, continuing to the old burial ground. Along the way you can spot local wildlife and appreciate the large variety of Vermont plant life as you make your way back to your yard for a cool drink.

Nice place. Liked the four queen size beds, comfortable dining room (seats 8 or more easily), big kitchen. Some quirks … for example, one full size shower, one short shower; hodge hodge of glassware; etc . Local property manager is excellent — very responsive.

35 min to okemo, 45 min to mt snow, other ski places were closer. we had epic pass. excellent afternoon sunlight to dining/living area. great entry with lots of hooks for ski cloths and boot drop. Basic kitchen supplies better than expected. would return again.

This house is 3 mins from Magic Mountain, 10 to Bromley, and close to Viking and Wild Wings XC ski centers. So convenient for everyone in our group to do their outdoor activity of choice. The house is not fancy but warm, spacious, with a cozy fireplace and gorgeous morning sun and view of Magic slopes. The hosts were accessible and easy. Great trip!
